    Hey everyone - how was your weekend? I got a ot of steps in on Saturday with a trip to London.
    My deficit for the entirety of last week ran at 3878, so I am expecting that will show up on the scales on Wednesday, as well as the NSVs I've had which include having to go to the back of my drawer to find smaller underwear, and I'm wearing my 'Mom' jeans today while I still can, as they are so loose!

    Hey, guys, Team Waistaways has posted a great challenge to think ahead about holiday strategies.

    I posted a couple of strategies I know will be key for me:
    -Keep track of what I eat daily. That will have me stay connected to my food plan. Keeping a streak of "stayed on food plan" days is very motivating for me. This will include pre-planning on days that I have a holiday event.
    - I'll make my foods ahead of time, and bring them with me (bringing enough to share, if appropriate to the event). At Thanksgiving (we are hosting), that will look like having an array of "on plan" foods for me (with enough to share) and "what everyone else wants and expects." I am actually happy to cook for others and eat for myself!

    Yes to everything you wrote! For me, it's going to be about planning and tracking! I just started a 100-day challenge with my Beachbody coach and my plan for the holidays is to stick to the goals I've set for myself and not let myself get caught up in the mindless eating that I've done during past holiday events. This year, when I indulge it will be a planned indulgence and it will be tracked.

    Hi group I am back. crazy week last week so I did not log. Bad as I got off my Keto. I will be log this week and get more active!! Today I will start with snow shoveling and finish cleaning the garage. My truck is being fixed I hope to be back working on Wensday. So i have time to meal prep for a week or 2 and freeze them. I have been having health proplems the last 2 weeks. I think most off them is caused by my bad food choices. I have a fatty liver and had 30% removed due to cancer. I will check in later today and let you know how the goals today worked out.

    Exercise: took the day off and went grocery shopping

    It's supposed to be really cold tomorrow so I got my shopping done today. Tomorrow, I'm going to start a Beachbody on Demand workout series called 80 Day Obsession. It's going to be very intense and push me outside of my comfort zone but I'm going to commit to doing my best with the knowledge that if I stick to it I will be stronger and fitter at the end of the 80 days than I am now. I also plan to finally make it to Onderland. :)

    So I'll get my hands on my Fitbit charger tomorrow. It died sometime Friday or Saturday but I'll find out tomorrow after I get it plugged in.

    The hike we did Saturday was the hardest physical thing I've ever done but we got it done. We did 7.45 miles so I'm hoping my Fitbit got some of the steps tracked. It'll be close to 25K if it did, fingers crossed!!

    @Kres567 If you have a thermos and like tea I highly recommend it! I drink iced tea then save the better stuff for bedtime. I'd never hit my water without tea!

    @bethanie0825 oh no, your Fitbit died around the time of your hike, I hope it logged the steps! Congratulations on surviving it, what a huge accomplishment!

    @hinemoa2088 great steps! I've been hesitant to get a tracker because I don't walk much, you're killin it!

    1. Gym 3xs a week- went today. Great weight workout but still struggling with leg weakness so I went slower on elliptical and lightened up bike resistance at home.
    2. Workout 30 minutes a day- done
    3. Decluttering- did a little today
    4. Social media- nightly check-in, did ok today
    5. Trigger foods- no problem today

    Sleep- ear plugs are helping! Kittens are still climbing on me after I get up to go to the bathroom but overall things are getting better.

    Thank you for your support I appreciate it.
    Because my son has colon cancer & now it's all through him. I have to go for a Colonoscopy tomorrow and lung test. I'm nervous, I cant eat any food today and tomorrow till after the procedures. So hopefully all of the weight I gained in the last 5 days will go away.

    I'm hoping it's mostly water, but I just dont know.
    For the Colonoscopy tomorrow. I have to drink a glass of water every hour I'm a wake for all of today and tomorrow up till the test. So if water retention is it it will be gone... till thursday lol
