    Nov 7 160.2 - off for the next 4 days. Hoping I can keep eating (and drinking!) mindfully. I'd like the downward trend to continue
    Nov 10 161.0- days off are tough to stay under calories. Especially with the drinking!
    Nov 12 159.4 - I made it through the weekend without gaining! Anyone else IF? I've been doing it about 6 months and have noticed that it helps with my eating, even more than counting calories. If I track all my food all the time, I tend to start obsessing and with IF I just eat 2 healthy meals and don't worry about it.

    #1. Log MFP Every Day
    #2. IF 16:8 Every Day
    #3. ONE sugar treat/week (easy now that Halloween Candy is on my hips😂)
    #4. 1500 - 1700 Calories
    #5. 10,000 steps/day

    Weight loss goal = 1/2 lb per week.

    This 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 got me thinking that slower is better. Caveat - I am not a ballerina
    and could not eat her diet, but the rate of weight loss seems sustainable.

    I started skipping breakfast consistently during the work week - it has helped me quite a bit. I've been allowing myself to eat between 12:00 and 8:00. I do still log my meals, but it keeps me from feeling like I have to be so careful in the evenings. I can enjoy sitting down to dinner with my BF and not think about it.

    I do this too, started skipping breakfast when I realized I was just as hungry at lunch with or without breakfast!

    Exactly! I actually tend to eat less when i IF. When I log all my food, I tend to eat just because I have the "extra" calories left lol. IF keeps me eating mindfully without feeling like I have to deprive myself. I cook dinner for my BF and my 7 year old son and I can enjoy with them and not worry about it! And I have a casein protein shake after dinner right around 7:30pm as my "snack" It's sweet and the protein help keep me full.

    Nov 14 - 158.8 - made my goal! But can I keep it at less than 159 through the end of the month??

    CONGRATS!!!! Just hitting it once is huge - you can do this!
