Sorry I've been absent. Time change does a number on me and this year was no different. I've been struggling with my steps and not logging food at all but I'm coming back out of it. Already moving and watching what I eat again. Glad to back to feeling more normal

3. Decluttering- filled the can again and filled green waste cans
4. Social media- wasn't home
5. Trigger foods- something I've been resisting, ginger snap cookies, was actually put right in my face, it was the perfect chance to have some without buying a bag and I still resisted! I AM looking forward to pumpkin cheesecake on Thanksgiving, it's going to be 2 months of abstaining then. Wasn't so good with cereal and nuts. I really struggle with how much to insist on my food being how I want over hurting someone's feelings when being served meals or a guest in their home.1 -

I am there with you on the discomfort of saying "no, thank you" to food that someone offers, especially in their house. Does it help at all to frame it up as a choice between honoring the host and dealing with health issues? So, not so much about what you want ("food the way I want" can for me sound/feel like I'm a little kid who's a p[icky eater!) as what you need in order to stay healthy and fun?
Not sure if any of that helps, but know you have company and sympathy. 'Tis the season for dealing with what we we eat and what friends/family eat. I am busy getting ready to host Thanksgiving, and will be making quite the spread for 5 people in order to feed and honor some very diverse wants and tastes!
