Chaffles

Fills 1/2 a waffle iron but is pretty filling. Still trying to figure out other ways to cook and make it thinner for sandwiches etc. without doubling the recipe.
1/2 cup of Swiss and gruyere cheese shredded (I get mine from Aldi)
Sprinkle of grated Pecorino Romano cheese
1 whole egg
2TBS Almond Flour
Mix and spread on a HOT waffle Iron until crispy
Let sit for a minute then eat how you like.
I like to put some butter and garlic powder on it but I've seen a lot of other recipes with cinnamon and "sugar" etc.
Anyone have any experience with simple variations to a chaffle recipe?

Sounds tasty. Can it be made in just a skillet or it has to be a waffle iron?0
