My favorite exercises all take place outdoors: hiking, kayaking and horseback riding.
At this time of the year, I must workout indoors, so my favorite exercises include walking on my treadmill and switching out for strength exercises using body weight and an modest dumbbells when doing squats.
What are your favorites?
Or What is your least favorite?

Absolutely glorious sunrise out of my window, lifting my slightly low spirits!3

Exercised?: Yes (5 km in 39 mins - hills)
Calories?: Yes
Tracked?: Yes
Cooler temperatures again today. Managed to just beat 39 mins today for the 5km. Walked after dinner, but before business meeting.
Tough day for me today. Got a lot done, but not in a sustainable way. Will need to plan a recovery type weekend this weekend. Just at a loss as to what to plan.
Daughter had appointment with mental health again today. Seems it went OK, but she expressed that she needs appointments with longer time spans (will have to see if that is possible later).
@RangerRickL . Favourite exercise: Walking. Can be done anywhere, does not require special equipment, low impact, can listen to music or books while walking.
Least favourite exercise: None. Almost any activity is better than no activity. When inactive, both my physical and mental states deteriorate.6 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes. 90 minutes walk, 90 minutes strenght training
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes under budget. Careful planning and watching calories means 2 Chritsmas parties down and weight is stable yay!
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes2 -
Proud of myself; last night, my club was having a get-together at a restaurant. I had dinner before I left to meet them and only ate 3/4 of an appetizer. I also found a running program that I'm thinking of joining. Today, I ate right and exercised.6

My favourite form of exercise is Jiu Jitsu!!!! My least favourite is probably doing stuff at gym by myself. I get bored and distracted, but if I'm with someone or in a class we can push each other etc.
Good day today. I did a pilates reformer class. Everything is still so hard because I'm so weak and there were a couple of the moves I just could not do at all, but I know it will strengthen me so I need to be consistent. I was also super hungry and ate lunch early so I grabbed a smoothie at the gym. Still kept within my calorie goals though.
I am feeling pretty tired this evening and I know Thursday's are hardest for me, so I have planned a late afternoon snack in my budget to give me energy to get to Jiu Jitsu class in the evening. I'm also not coming home between work and class, so less temptation to just stay in!3 -
11th November
I feel like I'm cheating as I'm coming in with a total minimum of 20 minutes exercise - it was pissing down with rain at lunch time, cold, and I hadn't got suitable rain gear. Calories: I ended up 4 (!) under maximum, including using up those few exercise calories. But yes, I logged everything. More importantly, I've not dropped out... I keep trying, every day's a new day!
Exercise: hate it all, but beginning to like my Stretching class on Thursdays. Missing it tomorrow,
working. Looking forward to a long winter beach walk with friends on Sunday. I quite like swimming once I'm in the pool, hate all the palaver getting there, changing, showering, drying hair and getting dressed again. Used to enjoy Hot Yoga, but class closed down. I think exercise takes getting used to, then you might (?) get to enjoy it...6 -

@Chinkiri. I think a lot can identify with this.
I can really appreciate the comment about swimming too. For me, it's not so much getting in the water, but getting out. I enjoy it while I am there.
There seems to be a number of stages for exercise:- Getting started - seems to take motivation just to over come the inertia
- Getting up to speed - this is the "hard work" phase, usually still lacking in motivation
- Being in the groove - this is where is starts to be enjoyable, motivation found and it just keeps itself going
- Getting tired - this is where you have reached your comfortable limit, motivation now drains away and it's a chore to continue
- All done - job done, you feel like doing nothing again. Unfortunately fora few activities there are clean up jobs (like shower, change clothes, pack away equipment, etc...)
- Afterglow - a good/happy kind of tired where you feel can rest and have completed something
Of all of these you want to maximise time in the groove. This is usually what makes you come back the next day/next week, etc..
Hopefully most can find an activity that gets them "in the groove" long enough that is worth all the other hassle.
The benefits of regular activity are well known, but it's hard to pre-motivate people to move based on future benefit.5 -

yes x 3 - Another chilly walk, today around the Greenway loop - one of my faves! When I am stronger I like to throw in a tiny bit of jogging into my walks, especially on chilly days. I do love hiking, too, especially in summer because the temperature is cooler and the trees give shade. And swimming. The trick for swimming to have it all together the night before. I wear my work clothes over my suit, one cup of coffee and I'm out the door. I beat the traffic, slide into the pool and swim. It's almost meditative. Dressing at the Y takes me half the time. So it's almost like swimming for free, time-wise. I like the hubbub of the locker room though it took awhile to get used to it. I like all kinds of group classes, too. They take me places I'd never go on my own! Meh on treadmills, and I rather dislike weights, but I'm going to do better with this.
@Chinkiri - someone once told me the best thing.. You don't have to like exercise, you just have to do it! This statement took away the pressure of "finding a likable exercise." He told me, "It's just like brushing your teeth. Just do it and accept it." Funny thing is, it starts to become enjoyable in some odd way.6 -
