how much weight have you gained

I'm 24 years old and this is my first baby. Due August 23rd
I gained about 7 lbs between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Oops. I'm not mad though. It's my own doing. I'm guessing that I'll likely lose some or most of that during the first trimester, as my appetite has been crap.

The midwives have me up by 13, but also have my entire weight as higher starting and ending (they weigh fully clothed at the end of the day so eh whatever). I've been doing some prodromal labor and went to the hospital last night for some testing. All is well, but we're dilating and effacing and are unlikely to make it all the way to due date. Fingers crossed for 37 weeks though! Keep cooking little buddy!1 -

I'm 24 years old and this is my first baby. Due August 23rd
I feel like I'm doing pretty good in spite of hardly ever going to the gym in the last month due to a scheduling conflict with my husband, and now the only time I get to see him is the time I would have normally spent at the gym.
We talked about it last night though, and I'm going to start going after work again. We'll still have a couple hours together to relax, its just not what we're used to and its going to be a weird adjustment. I can't NOT work out, though. And this pregnancy is making me so tired that there is no way I am getting up at 3:30 to hit the gym before work at 6am.

Even so nursing has been going well and I have a bit of extra fluff PP which is great since I want to be a milky mama! Heading over to the PP boards. Thanks for all of the support ladies and luck to everyone on their journey!5

I see the Dr. tomorrow for my first time too! Hope your appt. went well @LKL84 This week I was a little on a crabby side haha. I ate decent but I would like to be more active.
Congrats on your little man @noel2fit! You'll have to let us know how the PP boards are! They weren't very active after my last one and I really missed communicating with the new moms I had met on here.
Have a great week everyone!

Its TWINS!! OMG i still cant believe it, i’m so excited also i’m freaking out.
Not sure exactly how far along i am, the ultrasound tech couldn’t tell me. And i talked to my doctor and she doesnt know exactly, she doesnt specialize in twins and babies are measuring different so she referring me to an obstetrician. It does look like i’m a week ahead, but i’m just going continue where i am at for now till i know for sure.

I have been walking more but would like to try and start running again. My Dr. gave me the green light so I'm hoping to this weekend. We have snow on the roads but it's supposed to melt so hopefully I can go outside. I am drinking tea 2x per day, coffee in the morning and water throughout the day. I would like to try and drink more water and less coffee.
OMG - Congrats @LKL84 !! That is so exciting!!1 -
@LKL84 - Congratulations!!! It’s always been my insane dream to have twins, haha. So happy for you!0

Well I’m still trying to wrap my head around the positive test and everything it’s going to mean for this year, but I know for sure that I want to be healthy, whatever happens!
I haven’t scheduled a dr appointment yet (it’s on the list), so I haven’t gotten to lay out a goal weight, but I’m still overweight, so I’m hoping not to gain much. I tend to gain quite a bit because of exhaustion, but since I’m starting off in a better place than ever before I’m hopeful for more self-control this time.

Wowzers 3lb gain this week 😨. I know i’ll have to adjust my weight gain now i’m carrying twins, it says to gain 30-50lbs. But 3lbs in one week is too much. I’m hoping some is water weight and it goes down a bit in a day or two.

Hey everyone! I'm "new". I posted here back in 2015 with a previous pregnancy. I'm due August/September.
This is my 4th pregnancy. 28 years old.
Height: 5'7"
SW: 191.2
Goal: Gain 15-25 lbs
Week 13: 197.64 -
I’m showing a .4lb gain, but I don’t know if I’ve actually gained or not, because last week I weighed myself after eating and with clothes on, so I rounded down (I know, not very scientific, but I wanted to weigh on Fridays, and I prefer to weigh fasting and undressed at the same time each week). Either way, it’s a good reminder to me to be careful.
I keep having bouts of either feeling nauseated or starving. Sometimes a little of both. I tried taking ginger last night and it really seemed to help! I hope it does. 🤞🏼

Okay. That was the last week of excuses. We had family over and I ate terribly. My stomach didn’t like it and I felt dreadful, so since that time I’ve been back on track with eating well (which is probably why I’m not showing more of a gain, truth be told!). Just a few more days until my first appointment, finally!

I’m 24 years old and this is my first baby. Due August 23rd
I did gain a good 8 lbs during my first trimester, though I’ve been forgetting to post. I had horrible nausea and the only thing that curbed it was snacking. Could I have controlled it better? Definitely. Oops. I think a couple pounds of it was maybe due to severe constipation, and that’s cleared up now so who knows.
I have been tracking religiously again and some of it has come back off on its own, though I’m mostly hoping just not to gain anymore until I’m into my third trimester. I suspect I’m losing some of it because I’ve been running a lot more with the nicer weather.

I ran 1x and went for several walks over the weekend. It was in the 50s so it felt amazing! I need to do better about drinking water, I'd like to be hitting 96oz by the time I leave work and on the weekends as well. I'd like to hit 10K steps daily during the week as the weather keeps getting nicer and it's easier to walk outside.
Hi @brittanystebbins95! Congrats! I stole your idea to put the dates in front of my weeks
Everyone is doing such a great job!!4 -
Yay! I dropped a pound! I’m not trying to lose, but I was really hoping that the weight I gained while family was in town would be temporary. 😊 I feel more empowered to keep eating well and more hope that I will make it to the end with only healthy gain.
It’s always a shock to step on the scale at the doctor’s office fully clothed with a stomach full of breakfast. 😆 I have my dating ultrasound next week, and finally told my kids and immediate family, so there’s a lot of joy around here. 😊
