FEBRUARY 2020 Challenge

Second month of 2020 starting and on we go with the Keto way of Life and hopefully weight loss for those that are wanting this.
Welcome to anyone looking at this and wondering if this is for you, just give it a try!
You can post your weight here and also in the Keto Monthly Challenge Spreadsheet which Stormy /Nikki updates.
Feel very welcome to join, we usually post our weigh Sundays and use the 'Keto Monthly Challenge Spreadsheet' also in 'Announcements' to track weight.
We use this thread to encourage each other and to add our weight as well if we want to and generally chat!
It seems to keep us going and even if we go up occasionally (and who doesn't!) we get back to it and continue the journey.

February I’m going to attempt to weigh in only once per week. As I’ve admitted before on this forum, I have a bad Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) behavior when it comes to this subject. However, with your help to hold me accountable, focusing on eating right and diligent tracking/logging of my diet/exercise instead of my weight, I can stop this OCD behavior.
February also has some big challenges in store for me. We (wife and I) are going on vacation in Arizona in mid-Feb. Believe it or not, I’m actually going to be “Standing on a corner in Winslow Arizona” and various other corners in Arizona this month! We will also be staying in a different town each night, eating almost every meal out and not have a scale to tempt me to continue my OCD weigh-in behavior.
So, bring it on February – Let’s do this!

All you need to do is cut and paste the dates below from the challenge and then add your weight to that week each Sunday (or there about!) I just find my last post and do it again for the next time I post my weight.

Here is a link to the spreadsheet for the Keto Monthly Challenge. Scroll to the end of the spreadsheet and put in your 2020 starting weight at the top of the column and your current weight at the appropriate spot. Then you can update/track your weight each Sunday when we typically weigh-in on this forum.

The good news is it is early in the morning here in Washington state and I can still record a loss on the scales. The bad news is the day will be full of wings, sliders, nachos, beer and other Superbowl temptations. I concede to wiping out that loss and exiting ketosis this SB day. The real question for me is, will I get right back on the wagon tomorrow or will it be like the movie “Ground Hog Day” where I wake up each day and repeat the same old bad habits.
My prediction is I will see my own shadow, despite the mountains of SB goodies blocking the sun today, and I will go back into my keto cave most of 2020. Have a happy SB/Ground Hog day!
