Week 2, Monday
PW: 146 lbs
CW: 145.3 lbs
(Trying to maintain around 65kg /143.5 lbs, +- 1.5kg / 3.3 lbs)
Over the weekend I hit a couple of NSVs:- During a run, I got my heart rate up to 210bps (!), and stayed in 'peak' zone for 9 mins (I rarely ever get into the 'peak' heart rate zone).
- I did a 40km (24 miles) charity walk, which was almost 8 hours of fairly non-stop walking.
- At the charity walk they gave me an XS t-shirt. It fit! (Caveat: they were those gender-neutral fairly baggy t-shirts, not a real XS)
It was a bit silly of me really: I entered the charity walk on a whim, last minute, without proper preparation. I didn't really think it through before hand... just thought that because I can easily walk 2 or more hours in a day, this would be four times that. I forgot how the intensity wears on the body!

Weekend Recep - Friday/Saturday/Sunday
CALORIES: Under/Over/Under, barely
STEPS: Nope/Nada/Oops
WATER: Yes/Yes/No
AF: 8 days
Friday was great except for steps... I opted for a really long, finger pruning bubble bath instead of an evening walk.
Family gathering Saturday was nice... I did go over calories, but feel like I made way better choices than usual. I had a burger without a bun, no alcohol, grazed on broccoli... but did go for the birthday cake. Oh, I never painted my toenails... they are still chippy and ugly as seen in the pic.
Sunday - Breakfast prep was the high point of the day. I didn't get out of my PJs all day -not even kidding. Hubby and I watched an NCIS LA marathon and snuggles with our fur babies. My food choices were not the best, but I snuck in under calories.
GOAL FOR MONDAY:
Get the water, get the steps! I have pre-logged my day and it looks nice. I have room for a tiny cheesecake if I decide
HOW WAS EVERYONE ELSE'S WEEKEND?????4 -
My first real ventures to the outside world for two weeks this weekend. Tried and failed to fix a car for it's annual check, got it running properly though and went for a drive which led to a seaside run, aimed for 5 miles and bailed at 3.9 to catch a train back to the car.
Sunday was supposed to be a long run day though I could only manage 8 miles, the 'teen' bit will have to wait. Had a reasonable shopping trip, made my lovely SO dinner and went to bed early ready for my first day at work for two weeks!
All good fun.

Currently on Day 5 of the flu, hence the weight loss. So much for getting a flu shot. I am miserable and not eating much, but not tracking calories either. I lost my streak in MFP, but it's happened before, so I'm okay with that. Bye!8 -

Monday Recap
CALORIES: Under
STEPS: no...
WATER: yes, and I'm starting to feel the benefits
AF: 9 days
I think I posted last week about a Jerk chicken dish that I had made from a dinner kit. It was delicious. Well, I cannot find it again. SO and I tried our hand at recreating and it was DELICIOUS! I estimated the cals based on a sauce in the data base, but actually entered it in the system today for an accurate count. THIS is def going in the rotation. High in sodium, so it will be an early week treat
Today, we are having an office meeting and lunch was catered in. I ordered a salad for a total of 210 cal. GO BEKA!!! SO and I are having dinner out tonight - same restaurant we visited last week. I will be ordering the same entrée as before. One dinner serving can be split into 2 for about 450 cal. Only need to add the salad and a roll.
Planning ahead makes all the difference. I want to kick myself for not doing this all along.
FAILURE TO PLAN is what led to my regain. Knowledge is key!!!6 -

I am very stressed right now at work. I normally handle stress fairly well, but I am having trouble focusing on anything other than work and my mental health is not the best the last few weeks. Add onto that the stress of my bf having no job security thanks to COVID-19, and things are a little rough right now.
I am trying to look at this as an opportunity to improve my stress management techniques, and I am trying to stay positive. I want to stay focused on weight loss, so I will continue to try! Please bear with me as I work on collecting myself!
