    Friday's Food And Drinks
-drank about 8 cups of water throughout the day
-salad (1 cup of firmly packed spinach leaves, blueberries, almonds)
-piece of leftover oreo birthday cake
    -small glass of 1% milk
-small amount of leftover pulled pork moistened in honey garlic sauce in a hot dog bun with margarine
-10 grape tomatoes (half a cup)
-1 cup of leftover mashed potatoes with margarine and 1/2 cup of cooked baby carrots
-piece of leftover oreo birthday cake (my only regret from the day as I was not hungry, just craving something sweet, I did enjoy it but I should not have eaten it since I wasn't hungry and I had already had a piece of cake earlier in the day)

I feel strongly that anyone who is able to do home projects and meditate and make sourdough bread and cook elaborate meals is an alien from outerspace. I have yet to meet any of these people in REAL LIFE! they seem to exist solely on social media.
I consider the day a success if I manage not to: do e-learning without yelling, do my actual job and change out of my pajamas. Bonus points for: showering, laundry, dishes, cleaning walks and bike rides, prepping three basic meals THREE TIMES A DAY.
So, do what feels ok to you. Whatever we are doing-it's enough. Be kind to yourself and give lots of grace.

You are funny... yes, Aliens are running amuck on social media! :D

I agree with you that the social distancing and isolation and being at home so much can mess with us mentally and emotionally.
I have been through a wide range of emotions during this time and my mind is not always filled with the thoughts that I want it to be focusing on.
One of the biggest struggles I have had is being totally unmotivated and undisciplined when it comes to pretty much everything during this time.
So many people in my life are using this time to work on to do lists and house projects they have previously wanted to tackle or cooking and baking new recipes or spending more time with God and keeping up with our Bible Study homework or are exercising more or focusing on healthier eating. That is just not me during this time which is disappointing to me. It's not that I am never trying but it is a battle many days to get my mind, emotions, and body in agreement with doing the things that I actually want to do. I have wasted so much time during this pandemic and I don't want to look back and have any more regrets than I am already feeling. I know I am less stressed as I have had lots of down time and I know I have still been doing a pretty good job at the time I give to care ministry but I could be doing so much more if I could just get myself together and I would feel more accomplished and proud of myself. I am going to try again today as that is all I can do. Even if my mind and emotions and body don't feel like it I am going to try to force myself through the motions so I will feel happy at the end of the day with what I achieved.

Remembering to be kind to ourselves is so important too... try not to focus on what you think others are doing, give yourself pats on the back for what you are doing right for yourself. Celebrate that you are still getting out of bed, and working on what you need to do to get through each day. This pandemic is hard on all of us, it is very hard to stay motivated. I was thinking about this before I read your post this morning. I have decided that trying to stay motivated is just too hard at this time, so I am just going to fake my way through this, as best I can... don't think too much about it, and as Nike says "Just Do It". :)

On the bright side I gained 1.4 pounds of muscle and lost .2% fat, so I call this a win.

I completely understand. Like @Keepingtrack1234 and @looneycatblue stated we've got to be kind to ourselves. It's a lot more difficult that normal but eventually things will get better. Best of luck to everyone.

    Sunday's Food Confessions :o

    Posting For Accountability

Any Of You Are Welcome To Issue Me A Consequence For My Bad Choices
As That Often Helps Me Make Better Choices Going Forward :)

-drank about 8 cups of water throughout the day and 2 small glasses of 1% milk
-1 small peach and 2 pieces of cinnamon raisin bread with light peanut butter
-realistic sized piece of leftover oreo birthday cake
-leftover cooked baby carrots and mashed potatoes with margarine
-half of a Caramilk bar (could have eaten the whole thing but to be fair and to save on calories and sugar I shared half of it with my husband)
    -mint chip ice cream
-2 pieces of corn-on-the-cob with margarine and salt (didn't finish one of the pieces as it didn't taste very good as they were going bad)
    -Mae West
-whole wheat round tortillas with melted shredded monterey jack and cheddar cheese
    -SIX double stuff oreos!!!!! :#
-took out frozen raspberries and blueberries to thaw to put on the spinach leaves that I had that were going bad but never did so skipped my healthy meal of the day which is very bad
-TRIED TO BALANCE OUT MY JUNKFOOD EATING WITH EATING SOME FRUITS AND VEGETABLES BUT ATE WAY MORE JUNKFOOD THAN FRUITS AND VEGETABLES AND OTHER THAN BREAKFAST NEVER REALLY ATE AN ACTUAL LUNCH OR DINNER AS I JUST ATE BITS AND PIECES WHEN I WAS HUNGRY AND KIND OF GRAZED ALL DAY WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE A VERY BAD IDEA!

@inshapeCK your "food confessions" don't seem bad, but as you already know some tweaking here and there can improve the overall picture. What is a "May West"??? I don't see too much protein here, protein can help curb your appetite. I have a bad sweet-tooth too. I have been working on getting more walks in, after this my mindset is that I don't want to undue those benefits. Are you tracking your food in a food diary? Do you have a daily calorie goal? How close are you getting to your weight goals? If you are close, maybe you can up your calories and then you won't feel so stressed when you go over. I hope that you have a good day today!

    Monday's Food And Drinks

-drank about 8 cups of water throughout the day
-salad (spinach leaves and fruit from a frozen mix: raspberries, blueberries)
-last piece of the 2nd Oreo Birthday cake that my husband made for me
    -small glass of 1% milk
-2 pieces of cinnamon raisin toast with light peanut butter
-too many M and Ms chocolate covered peanuts
-leftover cooked baby carrots and Sidekicks bacon carbonara noodles
-PROUD OF MYSELF FOR STARTING MY DAY OFF WITH A SALAD, ESPECIALLY SINCE I DON'T LIKE SALAD VERY MUCH
-ONLY REGRETS FROM MONDAY'S CHOICES: OVERATE M AND MS AS WENT BACK FOR A 2ND BOWL AND DIDN'T EAT QUITE ENOUGH TODAY (PLANNED TO HAVE CHICKEN OR SOMETHING ELSE ADDED TO DINNER BUT RAN OUT OF TIME AS HAD A ZOOM BIBLE STUDY MEETING)
-LATER THIS WEEK, AFTER I GET MY NEXT GROCERY ORDER, I HOPE TO DO SOME PRE-PLANNING OF MEALS AS THAT WILL MAKE ME MORE LIKELY TO SUCCEED WITH HEALTHIER EATING

    Exercised? Yes. 109 minute walk
    Calories? Yes in budget
    Tracked? Yes

I took a nice long walk in the morning, my husband joined me for a 2nd in the afternoon. His back has been bothering him, so we need to walk a bit slower and not so long... but he did great! I think the walking is helping to easy the pulled muscles in his back. He keeps overdoing stuff, then pays for it for the next few days.

I was so happy to get some long walks in over the 3 day holiday... now need to keep up the momentum! My plan is to walk 40 mins in the morning before heading off to work, and then another 20 after dinner with hubby.

Anyone else have some goals (besides weight loss) that they are working on?
