I’m rather horrified at that number. All I can think is that I’m retaining a lot of water. I started back at the fitness studio this week and I am sore. I’m hoping for a grand whoosh next week.1 -

Hi everyone, I’m really struggling with tracking via the app. Does anyone have any tips or is it a case of ‘just make time and get on with it’?
How long have you been using the app?
I personally like the app better than the website. It does take some time to build your frequently used list, recipes and meals.
You will get faster. I can log a multi dish meal in about a minute and build a full recipe in about 3.
Don’t get discouraged!!!!
Thank you!! I will bear that in mind and set up some of my recipes 😊

Bob, a 70 pound loss is exciting no matter how you got there!
You are an inspiration! Don’t forget that!!!0 -
My husband and I went out for an anniversary lunch yesterday. Shared an appetizer and dessert with plans of going out for dinner last night.
Something was off in the dessert. We both became sick. We determined it was the dessert bc I was sicker and ate probably 2/3 of it. On the positive IM DOWN 1.5 MORE POUNDS!!🤣🤣🤣
Here is the the worlds most delicious laxative

Mmmm not sure what happened, I was spot on all week. I am 3 weeks on my new program so I believe I am stalled a bit. Not going to freak, just need to really make sure my food and weighing is spot on. Kinda bummed. Next week I will take measurements again.1 -

@peachplace thanks for the suggestion, but that’s a big nope on all of them. Veggies and fruits don’t really keep good in the boat due to the weather conditions (nothing stays dry when the sea is still cold), and fridge space is very limited. Also, the sandwiches for lunch are made and eaten while sailing, so the kitchen is tipped 45 degrees and on rough seas also going up and down waves, and you have to be ready to ditch your sandwich with a 3-second-warning if the wind changes and sails need adjusting. Can’t have a lettuce wrap falling apart in there, making the sandwiches is basically just trying to hit the bread instead of your hand when spreading butter on it, and then throwing a slice of cheese or ham on top of it. There’s already so many boiled eggs involved in the routine there that I can’t deal with any more, even though I like eggs. Some of those suggestions might work for a shorter trip or easier weather though, maybe I’ll try sneaking some in July when we go again.
@guitargirl55 you’ll get used to the tipping! It’s nearly impossible to actually flip unless you’re somewhere you’re not supposed to be, like a bad storm, and have very bad luck. I’ve been sailing since I was 6 months old so I don’t really mind the tipping or the waves. My husband was an adult when he first tried sailing, and now he’s used to the tipping as well. All that sailing since I was a baby has done wonders for my sense of balance - I’m clumsy and I trip on my own feet or cracks on sidewalks easily, but I always keep my balance on boats and don’t even notice waves on bigger vessels like cruise ships, even if the weather is bad enough for my friends to get seasick.
Also, it was definitely not tanning weather. It was sunny, but strong winds and cold seawater means cold and chilly weather. The winter here was really warm and I didn’t need any of my regular winter outdoors gear - until this weekend. The only thing that got a tan is the tip of my nose, other than that I spent the weekend in my thermal underwear and windproof gear. I’m usually the deck monkey (I’m experienced on the boat and I have good balance, so I’m the one running around and climbing on the roof when we’re moving), but Mom insisted my husband and I to start learning how to drive the boat as well. So, here’s a picture of me on the wheel (and a peek of the hubby navigating). It looks nice and sunny, but I would have liked even warmer gear.
Tomorrow’s weigh in is going to be interesting. I feel like I ate less than normal, but all different stuff, and it was a carb fest with extra alcohol.
