Can someone please help me, I am tracking my food but it seems I cannot eat anything before or after an avacado because they are too high in carbs. So technically, I am going over 20 carbs per day because of my daily avacado. Please offer suggestions!

A lot of people will use the net carbs on veggies and fruits because the fiber cannot be digested so it does not contribute to your carbs that are absorbed by the body.
As an example - take the avocado that you are eating:
100g gives you 9g of carbs and 7g of fiber, so the NET (actually absorbed/digested) is only 2 grams.
Another example - celery:
100g gives you 3g of carbs and 1.6g of fiber, so the net is only 1.4g of carbs.
To make this easier to see in my food diary, I eliminated the sugar column and replaced it with fiber - now the carbs and fiber show up next to each other and I can easily subtract the fiber from the carbs to get the net carbs that I am eating.8 -
That was amazing advice! Thank you!0

The Carb Manager app is great for this - it gives you the net carbs. Very helpful.1

I find that depending on which avocado 'brand' I buy MFP logs the carbs differently. Being in UK, I always use Tesco or Lidl no matter if I buy from another shop as the calculations show correct carbs :-)0

FWIW, I eat 3 or 4 avocados a week. I count the net carbs.0

If you want a game changer, sprinkle some everything bagel seasoning on top of an avocado. Its amazing!1
