Thank you everyone out here... i exactly still dont know how to get to thank all of ul in the same post ..... tried cutting down on my sugar...but couldnt escape from my coffee...
I hardly eat anything.... but cant give up on that morning coffee...which means intermittent fasting isnt for me3 -
I had a goofy thought this morning while biking. My anniversary is right after June 18th, so I thought perhaps I could get down to 145 sometime between June 18-27. If I keep to 1200 cals, it's possible. I was just at 148 not too long ago...4

Hooray for a great loss this week. I made some nice food changes this week and kept up on my workouts. I would love to be out of the 200's by the end of summer. I know it's a lot to ask but also doable. Summer time can be hard because my husband and I both have summer off and we take going with the flow very seriously! Sometimes that's a problem for weight loss.
We have wild Rose's, wild strawberries, lupine and some puffy white wild flowers blooming here.
@eggfreak I have been working on some similar bad habits. I have been meal prepping some foods that I can easily throw together instead of grabbing packaged foods. It has been helping. I also keep a note in my snack cupboard that says "there are fresh choices in the fridge ". That way when I magically end up in the snack cupboard without thinking I have a reminder to think twice.
@Gidgitgoescrazy So inspired by the peaceful protesters in your community.

Hi all 😊 my steps for this week so far.
Hopefully it's useful 😬😊🙈3 -
Two more hours and I'm on vacation!
My plan for tomorrow is to eat a chocolate muffin for breakfast (we have the ginormous Costco ones) and do absolutely nothing all day. We have stuff to do after that but I get one day to do absolutely eff all and I cannot WAIT. I'm ignoring FB and Twitter and the news and everything that isn't fluffy kittens and happy things.
I need this break. I'm so burned out.5 -
Welp haven’t gotten my walk in since Tuesday so I’m only at 3 miles so far this month ugh I have been slacking that’s for sure. I will make them up though. I’ll get through that 60 miles again this month I promise!! Still no sweets since my ice cream tip the other day and I’m sticking to that. Tomorrow is weigh in day for me! Seems to come so fast when I really just want a couple extra days hahaha welp here’s to hoping the scale gods are on my side in the morning 🤞🏻4

I'm a tiny bit worried that you say you eat "hardly anything". I know that keeping the calories low can feel that way, but I hope you can experiment with finding foods that have good nutrition, plenty of volume (= lots of chewing!), and not too many calories. Vegetables and fruits are the best families for this. If you prioritise those over starches, grains, and refined foods, you will be able to eat more without getting tons of calories. But whatever you are doing is working - you look amazing!5 -
Great job @conleywoods ! Beautiful week for you - and we'll try to hold you to a whole summer of wonderful eating so that you hit the 100s by the end of the summer. You know what you need to do! Keep our voices in your head
@deniners2 - what a goal! YES we are going to make June 18th and the days after it extra special now. An anniversary and possibly a weight goal in the same time period - it will be a blast!

I have had a good and productive day today - lots of little things done that needed doing, and a totally delicious dinner eaten The last time I got salmon before this, there was so much that I froze quite a bit. I have to say that it is quite horrible after being frozen, no matter which way I tried thawing or cooking it. Tonight I had some fresh salmon, and it was SO good. With tons of veggies, of course... And then the rhubarb and strawberry sorbet I made yesterday - with fresh rhubarb from the garden. Wow. I'm going to feel all nice and full and happy this evening.
Have a good one, all!5 -

Growling and sputtering about my weight gain sparked a good conversation with my “wubby” about decreasing serving sizes, salt, and processed foods. For the next few days, I’m going to focus on 10 cups of water and working some vinegary foods into my regimen. I know they help keep me from triggering into sweet foods. It’s a good recommendation from @jugar.
Good night, everyone!

Today was a mellow day for work. I got my workout in today but I broke it into 3 different workouts. Sometimes that just works better for me with kids around.
I ordered a camping kitchen set up to pack when we go up to the cabin. The cabin has a kitchen but it's my in laws cabin so they usually do a lot of the food. I'm going to start bringing my own set up so I don't get stuck eating things that don't work in my calorie budget. This will help with the summer unplanned time!
My middle son finally learned to ride a bike. It has taken him awhile. He is 9 and just did a long round of vision therapy which was definitely impacting bike riding. So excited that we are really close to having all the kids riding bikes. The 5 yr old is super close.3 -

Not much of a loss but still a loss nonetheless... I’ll take it.6 -
It's Friday ! Whew... even though it was a short week, I am glad it's over.. This weekend I get to put my library together ( my daughters old room) - It won't be completely finished, I will still need some wall decor, and another book shelf, but I want to get the big stuff situated before I decide what size and kinda decor I wanna go with... the hubby vetoed me on the cow ottoman so that idea is out the window... I'm thinking framed quotes of my favorite books, or dogs playing poker, it could go either way....
Sunday will be nice, so I wanna do some kayaking, I need to get my legs matching again... When we were camping and I got sunburned, I was wearing capris, so my lower leg got sunburned, and it has turned to a nice tan ( which is odd, seeing as I'm a freckle face who normally doesn't even get a slight tan till the end of summer) anyway, I have this abrupt line right below my knee... so I thought I'd sport some knee highs while kayaking and hope for the best... lol
My steps for 6/4 = 10,493 & 30 min of pilates
Hope you all have a great day !

It's a beautiful day out there! I hope it is where you are too. If not, well - get some housework done
I have a 5 minute break for you here. It's an animated short about walking - watch it all the way through and it becomes really joyous. Counting steps and getting more of them into the day can sometimes feel like one more obligation. Maybe this little gem will remind us to turn it into dancing, moments to think while trudging, fleeting encounters (human or nature!), and connection with our bodies as we help them get more and more joyous ourselves. https://www.nfb.ca/film/walking/ I hope you can watch it outside of Canada...

Happy Friday everyone! So far so good. My daughter and I put in 2.6 miles today before 7:00am. The air was cool, mist filled and had just enough water in the air to create a few raindrops.
Yesterday was my cheat day. I ended up having a plant based burger which is something I used to really enjoy. Half way through lunch though, my stomach got a bit crampy. I know it had to be the oil. Those burgers are so full of oil. It's pretty gross when you think about it. Anyway, I haven't had any type of oil, salt or sugar in 2 weeks and I don't think my stomach was ready for it. So that will be 1 food completely crossed off my cheat day list. Oh and I had 2 oreo cookies late at night but they tasted funny. I'm not sure if it was the cookie or me but they were completely unfulfilling. Tomorrow will be my weigh in but as of today I didn't see much progress this week and after losing 14 pounds my pants don't feel much different either. Maybe in 2 more weeks. I hope everyone is having a great Friday!

Just a thought make your cheat day the day after your weigh in day, I have done that and it really helps me stay away from the snacks.4 -

I haven't actually checked my weight in a week, which is almost unheard of for me. I just feel like I've done amazing with my workouts and pretty good with diet. I had one day where I ate all the carbs and not enough protein because I skipped lunch due to being busy and then ate too much at night. Yesterday, I did have a little ice cream but it fit in my calories and only through my macros off a little. 🤷♀️ I think my legs and shoulders look amazing so I am going to keep doing what I'm doing, for now.4 -
