Dean, This is called Orange Hawkweed.sadly, as beautiful as it appears, it is highly invasive, Introduced several hundred years ago from Europe. Accordingly Montana has native varieties but also invasive varieties. It is invasive to many states and British Columbia. It takes over meadows and survives on our soils. It can take over and decimate natural species.

@Dean: This is Orange Hawkweed. Interestingly it is on the noxious weed list of invasive plants in numerous states including yours. I love your photo.

I only got a 2.3 mile walk in yesterday so it wasn't enough to get me in the green. Will have to walk and bike today sometime.
@CMVT4 - I echo what everyone else says. You can do it however you like and however it works for you, but most use it to track the "purposeful" and intentional exercise above and beyond just moving about while living your life. You gain more health benefits from the purposeful movement.

@cmvt4 .... I use my exercise bike to get the majority of my miles daily, but I also use my steps to add 1 or 2 miles of just daily life...1 -
