I deeply appreciate learning how important the UAC is to you.
Some of you, @MadisonMolly2017 @victorious55; @TerriRichardson112 , @Bill70sStrong; and many more have been on this journey with me for a long time. I would not do this if you, the team members, were not co-creators and active participants. I'm an extrovert, so I need feedback and sharing. Those who are introverts are very welcome here too.
Recently @BMcC9 has been playing a very important role of encouraging many of you. I need that kind of help.
I spend more time on the UAC friendships than I do on any other relationships other than my wife, Rose, and my law firm team members.
You are important to me.
I am grateful that I am important to you too!
We make a great team!
Thanks from me to you too!
Your friend, Rick

This team is just wonderful! Thank you to all those members who regularly post support.
13th August
Exercise: Yes, just about 30 minutes walking. It's still hot, but I spent most of today working on my PhD proposal. I will have to find a balance between academic and sit-down work and keeping up with my exercise routine. I need mental health, but physical health is just as important, if not more so...
Calories: Yes, stayed under. Pleased I finally made my own curry.
Tracking: Yes, logged everything,
More academic work tomorrow, but I also need to do household stuff and stuff on the terrace. Procrastination is one of my problems, but I cannot procrastinate for much longer!16 -

That's the kind of situation "Planned Passes" are for! (as opposed to unplanned 'free-range eating' )11 -

@RangerRickL Thanks for having me on the UAC team, too! I'm very lucky I chose this challenge almost a year ago.
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? yes, an hour working outside trimming branches that were growing over the sidewalk, raking and bagging the brush. I might also go out for another night walk when the sun goes down -- haven't done that yet.

3x’s yes today!
I’m keeping my calories high while I settle back in to weighing and logging everything but today I came in closer to my calorie limit from two years ago when I was actively losing. I want to move into my losing phase again next month.
Full body strength and some cardio with my exercise crew for an hour this morning.

Shy introvert here. I tend to be quiet, but I do read everything posted.

Yes x3
I realized today how big of a role taking steps every hour is. Although I walked for an hour outside and did a bit of post-dinner apartment circle walking to get my total up to 10k, I get more calories when I make sure to hit my Fitbit's 250 step per hour goal.10 -
Pass day # 27

Yesx3 day. Barely but yes under budget...10 mins barre class -only 10 mins of a 30 min video in between work and feeding a toddler. 30 mins walk outside in the evening. In my experience steps add up when outside - in my case as I live in a small apartment...8

@Chinkiri Good luck on your PHD proposal
@TerriRichardson112 Nice new pic!
Yes, yes & yes today. I exercise mainly in our pool as I have plantar fasciitis. Lately I've been getting less of a workout since I've been working in the pool now for almost 3 months (the exercises were getting too easy). This week I've been pushing myself harder. We'll see if that gets me past my plateau. I've been this weight since July 20: went up 3 lbs, lost the 3 lbs., but still nothing lower.8 -
What a wonderful post Rick. I'm so glad that you and those you mentioned began this journey before the rest of us...and have kept it going. It has been a true blessing. So, thank you Rick...and all!
I'm yes x's 3 today. Walked this morning early...did some workout stuff with my zoom class...and took care of some pups. Going to walk this weekend early too...and then do a class or two. Trying to find a way to get my kids to be brave and adventurous to do some hiking...where other people might be.... That would be fun...BUT AFTER WE NO LONGER HAVE TEMPS ABOVE 104... lol8 -
I lost my long post, so rather than recreate it, yes x 3.9

Today was a warm and beautiful August summer day in the north central part of the USA.
I spent all day on the farm and just enjoyed the day.
Exercise: over one hour of active farm chores plus almost one hour of walking with a horse that is relatively new to the farm.
Calories: I need all of that activity to help offset some carry-over cake and homemade ice cream. I was under my limit
