@BMcC9 which popcorn do you suggest? I just started thinking about non-oil popcorn and without salt that can still be popped in the microwave.

I have a counter-top appliance type air-popper. If you are going for microwavable - I suggest you search amazon and make a one-time investment (VERY small) in some variant of "microwavable popcorn air popper". There are multiple brands, colors and volumes. Also to be found in Walmart or any other store with a "kitchen countertop appliances" section.

then just put regular run-of-the-mill popcorn kernals in.

If you find air-popped popcorn on the bland side as you make the initial transition, go to the spice aisle of the grocery store for "Molly McButter" (butter flavor sprinkles) or other "popcorn topping spice mix" to your taste.

my Mum passed away this morning and I made sure I ate healthy food, and I cared for myself in healthy ways.
My condolences, I know losing your mother can be one of life's hardest events. I am sure she would be happy knowing you are eating well and taking care of yourself.

@idmalone sorry for your loss . I lost my mother 15 years ago when she was 92 and not a day goes by that I don’t remember her.
I have been unable to log in to this board for a long time due to connectivity issues and haven’t been keeping to my goals ( due to an attack of vertigo and bad knee pain ) so August is really shot for me .
That said I have lost another 2.5 pounds and am closer to my initial goal of getting to a normal weight range.
Glad to read everyone is doing so well .
