Hi all. I’ve been in this challenge for about 1.5 years and have lost 70-ish pounds. I have been toggling in the mid-170s for about 3 months so I guess I am at a plateau. That’s okay as I have to be mindful of my eating for the rest of my life!2 -
Hello I’m the new person here ... I think I participated years ago because the names sound so familiar! But starting back up fresh having added some serious pandemic weight.

Today’s weigh in: 187.6
I’m doing a few things this month - a week ago I quit Diet Coke for the most part and am following some recommendations for hypothyroid - no gluten, also cutting back sugar significantly and dairy for a while (recommended by a book for thyroid conditions to give it up for gut health and then slowly reintroduce). We will see!1 -

I’ve been struggling since March, where I gained almost 30 of the 50 lbs I lost back but I’m nearing my 1 year logging streak and am determined to at least get back to where I was by then so I’m hoping the accountability of being here will help.

Day: Good day i busied myself making masks all day - making seasonal ones for family since everyone got me JoAnn coupons for my bday.
Steps: 12,993
Food goals: I’m doing a gut health diet for my thyroid issues - started a week ago no gluten, no dairy (for this month anyway), no candy and gave up Diet Coke a week ago - so far so good.1 -

I can’t give up the sugar entirely but only IN things like So Delicious Coconut Milk Ice Cream which is my current guilty pleasure. No candy or anything and only a little here and there as a treat.

Today was ok, day 2 of my cleanse. I did ok, cheated slightly, I had spicy mayo with dinner which I shouldn’t have but it wasn’t too bad. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll do better.

No idea why i gained so much, since my average intake has been even below my daily calorie goal, but no doubt it is going to be lower again next week.
Also it sucks i can't workout this week, because my wife is tested for COVID-19 so we are in self quarantine right now

Are you counting that as dairy? I think generally mayo is not a dairy item unless it's just one of the things you're restricting during your cleanse. I'm very happy it's not dairy, since I love it in the #2 Unwich!!!rawrxamberx wrote: »Day: Wednesday

So sorry, hope your wife is feeling better soon. Can you walk your neighborhood? That's been our go to exercise while our gym was closed - giving a wide distance if we pass anyone. Take care!!

MFP had helped me lose 25.25 lbs (11.5 kg) in last 5 years. Recently my weight has gone back to the highest weight. I felt terrible.
I have been walking daily for 2 weeks. Today, I just realized the good news:

the 1st of top 3 Individual % by Team
&
. For August 2020, I am
the 3rd of top 3 Individual % by Team.
The news motivates me and these are the best rewards I have ever received in MFP.
