Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Barely! I ate so well today but the day got away from me in errands and visiting family... but I ate so well I put on my rain coat and grabbed my umbrella and did a wet walk around the neighborhood in the dark for a half hour - thank goodness for the phone flashlight - a lot of frogs hopping around tonight!

Yes, yes, and yes. Although my exercise was pretty modest. I walked for 45 minutes at a very slow pace, only got about 1 mile. I found the 45 minutes of slow walking as a recommended maximum for the first week after a surgery like mine, so I think I am ok. And it seems to me that this does fit the UAC definition of exercise, even if only minimally.
It was a good day, and Rick thanks for catching me yesterday, did not consciously change my wording, but it was probably accurate. I do feel better today.
Too many down days to make the winner's circle this month but that is not too important, just getting back on track with what I can do is what matters. And there's November to look forward to.9 -

I have the same problem, and am mostly vegan too (though have been eating much more non-vegan than I'd like recently while I've been travelling). I don't know how obsessive to be about the protein thing; I find it really hard to get enough without also taking in too much fat. Work in progress.
@alligatorob - great to see you're still keeping on top of things; much respect to you for that. I know many (myself included) would be very tempted to use the surgery as a reason for taking a break, so you're doing great!

Had I checked in on Sunday morning, I would have reported that to my surprize I had consumed more calories on Sat than I thought, finishing the day on -8 😄. (I had to work 😐 on Sat, under the pressure of a deadline.) I thought it was fair to use a pass, since I kinda felt bad a few times when being only 100-200 calories under my limit, after changing tactics and going for "maintainance". Interesting enough, I was loosing weight, so maybe it was a good tactic 🤔.
However, yesterday I discovered that for one meal I probably overestimated the calories. Plus, I had been working out in the evening (kid wanted to workout with me, so we competed on pushups, step ups and squats 😄, I was doing 🏋️♀️ GBC Day 2). So I'll count it as good day, considering the 30+ min of 🚴♀️ and 40 min of 🏋️♀️.
Sun was okay, 🚴♀️ for almost 1h at 20kmh (with a break in between, including a nice family walk). Eating was good, but I had too much sweet stuff 🙈 (a slice of a self made ricotta cake, then also ice 🍦 cream 🤷♀️).
Good job, everyone! Hope you have an awesome week! 🌞5 -

Kind of light exercise.
Took Buddy on an excursion to the department store a few blocks away.
Pretty good hill on return. Pushing him up it counts as exercise.
Not really hard cardio but still...
He is always delighted to get out.
I love his joyful expressions.

While I'm no longer a dietary vegan (<-- LOVE that. I should've said this when people questioned me about wearing leather), I was one for over a decade.
I still have plant-based preferences including regular use of Vega's protien powders. My current staple for the past year or so is Vega Sport Protein (Vanilla) because it's readily available on Amazon Subscribe & Save.2
