I lost my fur baby, Lacy Sue, who crossed the rainbow bridge on Friday night. She has been my joy for 12 years.

I'm so sorry for your loss of a loved one, Jessica! *HUGS*

@Nancymcgregor Nice steady losses each week...way to go!!! So, what sorts of things are working for you? What are your challenges? What sort of exercise are you into currently?

    Jessica

I just keep within my calories each day, it’s easy at the moment because I’m not going out much because of the virus. I food plan and batch cook each week so if I’m ever too exhausted there’s a fresh healthy meal in the freezer.
My biggest challenge is my illness, I have ME so it can make everyday life a struggle. I’m managing the symptoms at the moment but I have to plan for bed days when I can’t move.
I am trialling walking at the moment. Some days I can do it others, like today, I rest and recover. I aim to walk for 30 mins three times a week and 1hr on the weekend. My daughter is really ill this week so all my energy is going into nursing her. 😊

So I found an app for workouts I really like. I have been working out at the gym for almost 2 an a half months. I've just really have been freestyling it though I really do not know what I am doing. I decided to try to get more serious about it so I was looking for personal trainer apps. I downloaded one called Fitbod that I really like.

You can use it for home workouts/body weight workouts but you can also use it for a fully loaded gym. It lets you choose from a large list of equipment and indicated what you have and what you don't have. It tracks each workout and suggests exercises based on what muscle groups have had time to rest. For gym workouts, it even tells you how many pounds to lift with each exercise. There are instructional videos and text to tell you how to do each exercise with proper form.

The one downside is the price. There is a short free trial where it will create x number of workouts free, but then the subscription kicks in. It is either $9.99 a month or $59.99 a year. This is only the second app I've actually decided to pay for. I used it yesterday, and my body is definitely feeling it this morning.

@izzyred9400 You have the 11th listed twice with two different totals...I have you down on the 10th as 4565. Please correct the above so I record it correctly. Thanks!

@jessicakrall8 sorry I went for 2 walks that day and wrote it down wrong .10/11 first one was 8,383 & 2nd 6,118 so correct number is 14,501.
I use map my walk so only record my outdoor walks on my mobile phone.I must get a new pedometer so I can record all the steps I do at home aswell. :)

I’m not in high hopes for many steps today. I was up all night sick to my stomach. Still feeling a little queasy. I’m going to rest mostly on the couch.
