What's the best thing about Saturday for you?
I enjoy no alarm clock and not really getting rolling until I feel like it.

Exercise? No
In budget? No
Tracking? No
Lunch at parents place. First time catching up in person since early May. So intentional pass day.
Go into hospital tomorrow for 4 weeks. Hospital admission is to work on long standing mental health issues that had me in crisis two months ago.Two months ago I was admitted to hospital through psychology triage. There was a clear risk of self harm. I was in hospital for 4 weeks working out medication and learning skills to keep me from harm.
I am stable at present, but still at risk. This hospital admission is to help me no longer be at risk.16 -
@craigo3154 best of luck at the hospital. So brave of you to do this and wise to know you need to!
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? yes - day off so just mild exercise today.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? yes
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? yes
Best thing about Sat for me? I have to agree on the no alarm and also that no one is at work so not a lot of emails to have to deal with either.7 -
Hmm, Saturday’s are good because my friends have more free time so I can catch up with them. I’m rarely have a normal work schedule so tend to do shopping etc when everyone is at work!
After yesterday’s bad food choices I wasn’t hungry today so are far too little food. Will have a big breakfast to fuel up for competition squad tomorrow! The planned yoga didn’t happen because my friend invited me to join her on a coffee run to catch up on her adventures of the previous week (camping with her husband). Coffee run included getting new beans and enjoying some of the delicious cold brew at the shop. I walked to and from her house for exercise instead. Then helped with the final three loads of my friends belongings. It will be nice to spread out a bit more again. I don’t need lots of space but it will be nice to have my desk back and a permanently set up training space.
Evening was Aunty Dory duties with my nieces and nephew while their parents celebrated anniversary. Watched Sonic which my nephew quoted as we were watching and then read him Mr Silly for bedtime story. Always good times with those kids.6 -
Been hiking today! Lovely sunny day - in Sept it felt like it was winter already and today I walked in a t-shirt for a while! 🌞 This is what I love about saturdays. 🏞
Woke up at 7:30 today. Kids 🤦♀️. They are worse than alarms, I tell you! 🤷♀️
So with all the hiking, I am way under, although I ate quite a bit and even sweet stuff. Hopefully I logged relatively accurately... Tomorrow the scale will be up, I know it! I always seem to retain water after hikes 🤨.
Have a nice weekend, everyone! 🥰

Favorite summer activity is likely why I am here - probably "eating". I am not a summer person. Fall is my favorite. I am not a bright sun, heat, humidity, or water person. So of course it made a lot of sense that hubby and I bought a place in the Florida Keys last year. I think I'm going to need to find a better favorite summer "activity". :P

After doing well for a few days I slipped back to my old self. Gotta watch that.
Best thing about Saturdays was normally going out for breakfast, then shopping with hubby, drive into the countryside. Just getting out the neighborhood. I need to do better watching what I order next Saturday that is for sure.7 -
Best of all-around health to you @craigo3154 🤗

Not sure what to say about weekends in 2020 as they're looking a lot like weekdays this year. It's all a bit much but the additional physical activity helps (she said to herself reassuringly).4 -
Saturdays are my outside long-run mornings, which I look forward to every week. And normally Saturday is band practice for me, which is a ton of fun.

Saturday, November 14
I started my morning with a 20 minute energy focused meditation before coffee. Then, of course, coffee. I don’t know if I’m imagining it, but I had soooo much energy all day. Between that and dancing while making my coffee (huge thanks to @TerriRichardson112 ), I have found the perfect way to start the day.

I had an especially lovely Saturday today! Perfect weather to meet my closest cousin, Sharon and her husband. We ate outside at Barrio Queen restaurant in Phoenix. I bought cousin-worthy birthday flowers for her and we spent relationship time together with our spouses too.

@craigo3154 My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you head back into the hospital. Knowing you need help still and willing to face those demons head on and attacking them is the first step to healing and I give you tons of credit for that. Be well my friend!

My favorite thing about Saturday: Well I never used to get excited about Saturday because it just meant another work day for me. I am a hairdresser as well as an assistant preschool teacher. My Saturdays were always spent working 12 hour days doing hair. Now that I started doing nanny jobs instead of working in the preschool it has given me time to do hair on the week days and keep weekends free for my family. So now Saturdays mean no alarm clock, time for family, time to watch movies, extra time for more fun activity to add to my exercise or even a nap during the day!6 -
What's the best thing about Saturday? Well, since I work on both Saturday and Sunday, when the weekend is in my rear view mirror.... writing this, I think i need to change my attitude. For a while I was doing walking meditations and will commit now to go back to that tomorrow.
Exercise: hours of slow walking and disinfecting public areas due to the virus, plus carrying some heavy items on purpose for upper body strength
Calories: under budget
Tracking: yes, everything4
