    Saturday check in.
It is a beautiful day here in Wales. Crisp, cold and dry with gorgeous sunshine.
I've been out for a walk, 10km from my door (lockdown rules here) and out onto the open hill/moorland. There is the site of a Roman Fort and marching camp from about AD 70, about 5km from my village so I went there and back. Most of the route is following the Roman road, with some of it still rough and stony. I like to drift my imagination away and think would it have looked much different nearly 2000 years ago? ! I digress...

15k steps bagged and my diary pre-logged for today.

I'm supposed to do a workout with weights today but I have sacked it off as to be quite honest, I can't be bothered. Maybe that attitude is a bit cavalier, but it's how I feel at the moment.

    Have a great day everyone.

Good morning (or day or night), everyone! It’s Saturday morning here, and I’m feeling refreshed with energy for a fun weekend. The sun is shining and there’s snow on the ground so there’s more light outside than there has been in several months. Today I plan on going for a long walk in the sunshine, baking banana bread, putting my lamps in the ceiling, taking Christmas decorations to the basement and setting up our new robot vacuum cleaner so that it can clean on an automatic schedule.

It’s going to be a good weekend!

Evening check-in: I did go for a walk, although it wasn't very long. I waited too long to go out and it got cloudy, and I wore a bad sock+shoe combo and started getting blisters in my heels. I did, however, try listening to an audiobook for the first time and it was kind of fun. I think I'll try it again and see if it helps me walk longer distances without getting bored.

The lamps turned out to be a big issue - got one in the ceiling and even that one is kind of wonky, the rest are incompatible and I need either an electrician or new lamps. Since the old lamps are cheap ones from Ikea and I'm not particularly fond of them, I have some lamp shopping to do. With the whole lamp debacle taking so much time, the banana bread has to wait until tomorrow.

Mods! I have a problem that I'm hoping is resolved easily.

This is really embarrassing, but I sometimes have difficulty with numbers - and have been so scatterbrained with working long hours at the hospital. 🤦‍♀️

The weights that I posted are NOT correct, they're much closer to my goal weight and I'm not totally sure why I didn't catch that sooner when I re-copied them into another response.

Here is my correct information, and I'm posting a picture of my weights to further show my mistake. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience.

    My highest weight: 235.4 pounds
My weight on January 3rd, 2021: 234.6 pounds
    My weight today: 228.9 pounds

To make sure I follow the format:
    Fit2Fat_Kat
    Sunday
    PW: 234.6 pounds
    CW: 228.9 pounds

Again, I'm really sorry about the huge mess up!

Below is a link to the F2F Habit Tracker. A few are using this. Sadly, even as a MOD, I have not been. This is a shame, because it is an awesome tool!!!

Please feel free to click the link and access this great tool.

Before pic: Aug 2016 - My daughter had just graduated basic training and was returning to base to be shipped off 8 hours later. I saw her for about 4 hours after not seeing or talking to her for 10 weeks. I had cried a lot that day. It helps when your before pic is really, really bad!!! I was +/- 242 lbs and MISERABLE

Current pic: Today - No tears, 168 lbs. 74 pounds from pic one.

I went shopping today... I bought the dress on the right. It is a size 6... A FREAKING SIZE SIX!!!!! What? Me in single digits? Granted it is a little snug thru the tummy still... kind of shows my FUPA, but its a size 6!!! Trust me that it actually looks great when I'm walking around in it. My daughter was STUNNED! I was FLOORED!

Notice my grandson with a pool noodle in the lower corner of the pic. He was cheering MIMI on!!

    Wow you look incredible!

Went over today, and am trying to think about how to get under going forward:

    - Switch full fat coconut milk in chicken khao soi soup for low fat, or think of some veggies to swap for the noodles.
    - Skip the cream in my coffee 😣
    - Skip the english muffin or the swiss cheese at breakfast. Maybe even just half an english muffin could be good. I could turn my breakfast sandwich into an egg and spinach bowl instead.
