Woke up this morning to a good cover of snow. The family went off to enjoy the hills with friends while I did some indoor cardio and tidied up. The snow was virtually all gone by early afternoon when I drove home. Saying goodbye to my son was hard - very emotional for both of us. We went on two good long walks while I was there but we walked slowly and stopped to take in the views. He struggles to keep up with his 4 year-old daughter and I'm the one who plays tag with her.
I'm home now so back to the bike rides and the stricter tracking and calories.
I am sure that saying goodbye to your son was hard! My 23-year-old son decided when he was 21 that he would live with his girlfriend in Tampa, Florida! He packed up his whole car and drove from Illinois alone and straight through the 22 hours to get there! He did not tell us he had planned on doing this until 2 days prior; he was living with us too! One of the hardest years, the year he was gone and so far away! Happy to report, though, he came back home after a year and brought her with him! This I love!
Here they are together, holding my new Granddaughter on Friday! Proud Aunt and Uncle! They look so young, though, and it freaks me out! I was 3 years younger than my son is now when I married my husband! Did we really look this young?

Pass day 4. Got out of routine with all the craziness of last week so time to get it all back under control. Scale is still happy as I didn’t overdo anything too much and I’ve kept active.5

I’m doing everything right, but scale is not responding as it usually does. I must be patient.
I have an affirmation app that randomly sends them to me. Today, as I was worrying about this, along came, “I am a warrior!” Shifted my mindset.
I WILL persevere & win this temporary bobble! I am a warrior!

Thank you Rick aka @RangerRickL - signed up for February a few days ago! My favorite UAC month - only 28 days! Hahahaha 🤣🎉7 -

Out in the mountains 🛷ing. Tbh, I didn't feel like it. I would have rather do nothing, maybe watch a documentary or read. Also do my last workout for the week. The kids wanted to go enjoy the ❄, so I went along. Good choice, I recharged my batteries 👍.
I had 150cal left, too. This after I realized the next day that I forgot to log the 2 thin slices of pizza (network issues). 😀
So today it's been a good day! 💃4 -
#ginadomaszewicz You are 100% right about Maddie, @MadisonMolly2017 This place would not be what it is without her leadership and truthfulness!3
