With the meals, at least if you decide to stop the service, you'll have ideas for how much to eat and different meals to eat that you can make. I can see why you feel that with the money you pay for it that you don't want to have to buy more foods. I hope you'll give the company feedback on that. Any exercise is worth doing. It doesn't always have to be intense:) Nice loss this week.
Thank you, yes I've provided various feedback to them on their posts.. it does seem they do take them on board to create meals from my and others suggestions but, yet to see an improvement on vegetables portion increase etc.
Yesterday after some discussion with a family member I decided to go down to 5 days a week for next month starting next week. I can always go back up to 7, stay on 5 or do own thing after next month. Within the conversation it contained some valid points about cost, giving a break from the meals so not having a repeat of the some of the meals previously had two days prior to the weekend. Also, gives chance to start to bring back homemade meals in a healthy way in small steps.
Whilst I was fine with going for another 7 days a week for a month for the set structure and whatnot, I am also conscious of not becoming long term dependent on a service in way for example how you have to look at food as syns on SW or points on WW and leaving that system. Of course the meal prep service is more my way of thinking with being calorie focused but I hope that sentence point made sense..I will need to still be mindful and measure for calorie counting so I don't overeat the work done before the weekend.
I think it's just a case of seeing how I feel towards the end of each month on what I go for and work from it. It's great that I still have focus and determination above all else, weight loss journey is going good so far this year.4 -
I am sorry that I have been missing over the last few days.

I am having real trouble sleeping with the APAP. Usually I can manage 5 hours, but last night after 2.5 hours I was up and couldn't sleep. I cleaned. I cooked. Then I went back to sleep in the morning for a few hours. I hope this improves.
Made more of my lentil soup/stew which I find really good so that's a bonus.
Awesome loss! Have you tried calling the place you bought your APAP from? Maybe they can make an adjustment. I hope it gets better for you. You have been making lots of different soups. I really got to start making soup and freezing some of it for lunches. Do you make extra to freeze?Daily Post January 24

Exercise Rest Day
We spent the day at my parents house. My mom just bought herself an instant pot so I've been making dinner with it on Sundays to help show her how to make stuff. Last night I made roast with potatoes and carrots and then you use the liquid after it cooks to make a gravy. It turned out soooo yummy.
Today I have my nieces again so my workout will have to wait until late, but I'm sure the kids will keep me active haha. It's gonna snow all day today so my son's preschool even got cancelled.
You just gave me my next meal to make in my instant pot. I think taking care of 4 small children will burn a ton of calories. This step challenge is really motivating. I was close to my 10,000 steps last night, but I was not going to make it. So, while my husband, my daughter and I were watching a TV show, I walked around the perimeter of the living room and kitchen until I hit 10,000. They think I'm crazy. Ha!
@jimboden3
LOL, please Jim, let's not repeat 2020. Glad you saw the scale go down this week to reflect all of the work you've put in! I love the graphic. So very true:)
@shortyjmorgan1
Sorry to hear that. Take care. We'll be here when you come back:)

I didn’t get my workout in, my day got away from me. A lot of items on my meal plan this week have been hard to find so that has been annoying. Had to shuffle things around but made it work. Dinner was chicken enchilada skillet which I have made before. My daughter is getting pickier lately which is also annoying. She threw a fit at dinner later night.4 -
A couple of ppl asked about the pizza dough I have been making. If you use self rising flour you can take out the salt and baking powder but I don’t have it.
People make bagels out of this too but I don’t love them, maybe I am doing something wrong but I feel like I can taste the sourness of the Greek yogurt. I can’t taste it when it is in the form of pizza crust.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup all purpose or white whole wheat flour*, (5 oz ) plus more for dusting
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 cup 0% Stonyfield Greek yogurt, not regular, drained if there's any liquid5 -
Happy Turn-Up Tuesday!
I’m sorry I didn’t get to check in yesterday. I had to get some blood work done in the morning and also had an appointment with Jax in the afternoon. He’s been walking funny and I was very concerned. Turns out he has hip dysplasia but not too bad. Seems it’s at the beginning. Anyways he’s got meds for the pain and inflammation now. Will have to make sure he’s not doing anything too crazy like jumping around etc.
So I have some cool news! Mike and I decided to gift ourselves something very cool for our 20th wedding anniversary this year. We are going invest in a home gym!! 🎉🎉 Covid will no longer keep us from getting our workouts done. I’m so over all
These confinement’s and gym shut downs etc so now instead of paying both our memberships monthly we will invest in equipping ourselves with what we need. We will be making 4 payments so it’s not too much In one go and we should complete it by mid spring.
This is what we have in mind...
So excited!!

366 new messages since the last time I was here!!
I´m sorry but I can not read them.
My life is super busy right now with the course I´m doing and it´s really exhausting. I´m not doing sport and I am taking little care of myself if I´m honest. My scale hates me. This morning she said: I can only hold one person at the time, what am I? And I was like: Excuse me, it´s only me believe it or not! Then she gave me the numbers and I didn´t like what I saw. 134.3 Kg 296 lbs
I´m eating in a weird way. I get up at 5 and I have a GOOD breakfast with everything and when I arrive to school at 8.30 I have a coffee. At 10 I am eating something again and at 12.15 I am having my lunch. Everyday a different "burrito" Is the easiest, cleanest, less heavy option I have to bring something.
Calorie wise I´m quite under control but I still don´t feel like I am doing good.
My belly is completely bloated every day and I would say is from stress but at some moments it even hurts like hell.
I had not so long ago another night at the hospital to control my sleep with the Cpap and who knows if they will say something about the results.
I´m overwhelmed with everything.
In the positive note, I feel better know that I am having a bit of social life. Take the bus, see people at school, chat a bit.... I feel productive even if I don´t earn a cent from it and my self-esteem is a bit better that it was.

Hi all, just checking in. My studies have been crazy, and still no news on the surgery yet
But sticking to my food plan, even if I can't exercise.
I'm really happy that I lost nearly 13lb this month considering my health struggles. Hopefully another week or 2 before I hit a 2-- something! It's been YEARS since I last saw a 2!6 -

I have been sick for a week, now, and my steps consist of letting the dogs out and just the necessities. I can't wait to feel better and exercise more. I wish being sick took away my appetite, but that never seems to happen to me! I'm reading about a lot of people with sniffles - tis the season.3 -

Food logged.
Under calories.
Drank 96 oz. water.
Exercise: Shoveled snow for 30 minutes.
It snowed from 5pm last night to 11:15 am today. Depending on where the drifts were, the snow started at 6" and went up to 18". My brother-in-law came with his skid loader and cleared the driveway. We cleared the sidewalks, stairs and shoveled a path to the bird feeder. We get 6 to 8 pairs of cardinals at the feeder.
Had a late lunch with Kevin's oldest daughter. We talked about what she was doing with the estate, her hopes to buy his house, her children, her siblings and job as a correctional officer. It was a pleasant visit and didn't end until after 3pm when the schools get out here.
@lelbarou, my cousin just got a bpap and she is not getting much sleep either. Think it is because you had hours of poor sleep before the apap and your body got used to minimal sleep. The sleep you get with your apap is deeper so your body thinks it needs less. It should resolve with time if you are properly fitted with your device.3 -

Weight shows on the scale itself, but it also pairs with an app on the phone that tracks all kinds of other stuff too--weight, BMI, body fat, visceral fat, muscle mass, bone mass, water, protein. I know I have seen it mentioned here before.
Wow, I checked it out and for the price, this seems like a good place to start. I think I'll get one soon. These scales seem like they would be extra motivating.3 -
Happy Hump Day!!
Great news! Mike and I spent our evening researching, measuring, etc and we decided to go for it! Our home gym has been ordered! As delivery is so pricy, we decided to do one time delivery day so all will be delivered at once mid-May. It’s ok. Gives us time to prepare the room 💪🏻❤️👍🏻. I never thought I would be so excited about a home gym ❤️ We were able to order everything on out wish list. Once it’s all here and set up I can end my gym membership. I’m ending mikes already as he hasn’t gone in months and still can’t without a prescription. So the money we save from his membership between now and May will pay for the shipping. Win win
Also, I’m excited this morning because my weight is finally moving down! With muscle pain I had gone up to 199 last week and weighing in on Saturday at 198.2. Today I’m at 195. Slowly but surely getting there. I sure hope I can keep this down until next Saturday.
This morning I will be cleaning house and laundry, afternoon appointment and then hoping to have Luka baby sit Sam while I go to the gym for my session. I hope it works out as I missed Monday and will also need to miss Friday. Making up for those 2 days today and Saturday if I can.
