All of you who have sore feet. Have you ever tried Hoka shoes. Hoka One to be more precise. They are a bit spendy. But I love them. They even help walking on concrete and after surgeries. They do make your feet appear larger. But I don't care. I love them.

Walked 3.37 miles in 65 minutes this morning. A second beautiful day in a row in Atlanta 72 today. It was 61 when I walked at 11:00. Had to take mom to a doctor’s appointment first.

Shelley I’ll definitely have to check out those shoes. My feet are always hurting. Right now I walk in either Ryka or New balance. Liking the NBs more and more.

    Shelley,

The cartilage in my knees is gone and it sounds like the extra cushioning in these might really help. Thanks for the share! It's already in my Amazon cart.

Wind was 27 miles an hour to day! I walked 4.37 miles in 76 mins by myself and 60 min workout w/my trainer. I just spent a $$$$ on NB. Must wait for the next pay cycle.

Kathy and Paula remember to walk around in which ever you choose. Indoors of course. :D Do not be afraid to send them back if they are not just right. My daughter has had several operations on her ankle. Still might be having another. I noticed the other day she had a pair of rubber sandal looking shoes. They reminded me of my HOKA shoes. Come to find out they were the same brand. Her doctor recommended them to her. She said they really are helping. Now if they can just fix her ankle. They make some really nice looking sandals that have backs. I am wanting to get a pair later. And another pair of all black shoes for work. So glad I was told about them. Several of my co-workers wear them. I don't like running in these ones though.

Chris can't wait for you to try them also.

These are the ones I wear for work. I sometimes think they run just a little narrow. But that could just be from my feet having been sore for years.

I'm a Brooks girl...I have super high arches and they really help.

So busy today...besides work, went to a funeral for one of my team members husband who passed of covid. So sad...43 years old. Also took Belle to her nutritionist....walked the parking lot while she was in her appointment....better than nothing!

Karen that is so sad. I remember you mentioning it before. I thought the funeral would have been earlier.

I am not stuck on any one brand. Though I do wear a lot of higher end Nikes. And some New Balance. I have got to the point that I don't want something unless it makes my feet feel good. Not just look good. B) Especially walking. I usually try on every pair in the store before I end up walking out with nothing out of frustration, or taking something that I hope will work. How ever did people make it 200 years ago!

I forgot to mention. I am walking at least 10,000 steps daily all week. So far I have met my goal. Also adding in some upper body weights. Hint hint my friend Kathy! ;)

I walked around the block today (our blocks are mountainous) - chasing down a propane truck because we are low and in December we went almost a month without gas. Found the delivery truck; but it was a different company, may switch to them, people say they're good. It was nice to talk to the driver.

I'm extremely pleasantly pleased that the walk did not trigger knee pain again. It has only just healed up. Hopefully the new sneakers and a knee brace will make it possible again. Today was a good test.

    Best everyone.

Shelley - After her hubby passed, and and her 2 sons got COVID. She pretty badly. All are well now, but really prolonged the funeral. Hoping for healing for her now.

Great job on the steps Shelley!!

So hard to start healing when you are not even able to say good-bye. It is all so sad. :'(

Took the day off. Rainy day in Atlanta. I had to drive my mom to take her dog to the Vet to check on a spot under her eye. Her Westie has allergies. But otherwise good. Her baby is 14 years old. She’s slowing down like the rest of us in my house. :)

I don't think I ever noticed you mentioning your mom has a Westie. Such wonderful little guys. Allergies are such a pain. You are such a wonderful daughter to have your moms little guy come into your home also. Hugs to you all.

And put on a rain coat and get walking. o:)

So it's still pretty cold and a little bit rainy this morning. Somehow motivated myself to bundle up and go out and do a walk run for 45min. Ran more than I have run in probably 5 years. Definitely feel like I'm getting stronger. Want to try to do a 5K this year.

Let's see if my knee holds up :)

Beautiful morning in Georgia so I took advantage and went on a 85 minute walk - 4.1 miles. We’re supposed to have rain for the next 3 days. Yuck!

Such a mixture of weather. Beautiful, going to rain. Still cold, bundled up. We had sunshine. Our solar panels collected 30.75 KWH. But it was windy and only in the 30's. Did a couple of 30 minute walks on the treadmill.

Paula I must admit I am skeptical of shoes bought from Amazon or eBay. I always worry they are pirated. I hope yours are the real deal. Let me know. HOKA do have authorized dealers apparently. I am going to buy a pair of the rubber slip on ones for around my house. My daughter, Sanara, bought a pair from them that were recommended by her surgeon. She loves them. I will have to ask her if she got them from Amazon. She buys off them often.

    Shelley,

I'm too trusting sometimes. Let me know what what your daughter says, okay?

    Thanks,

Paula she said she loves hers. So they are at least the real thing. But she did mention she could of got them for $30 less at some online shoe stores. She said that Amazon is usually less so she did not look at other places.
