Exercise-Yes. Took the puppy out for a long walk in the morning. I don't usually walk the puppy very much in the morning, but today I decided that a long walk in the morning would be good for both me and the puppy.

A 3 YES day. NSV: my belt finally feels comfortable on the first (last?) hole. Next goal, move it to the next hole. I am tracking my weight. I’m on the ultra slow 1/2-1 pound/week loss track and it’s mostly working so far.9

It seems like NSV are all I get these days, so I take them. Mostly I just feel good about myself and my commitment to a healthier body. I slept EXCELLENT last night, which I know is a by-product of exercise and healthy eating. Good sleep has eluded me more often than not in my 50's. I know much is related to hormones and stress, which are things that I can't control, but the healthier lifestyle seems to has a positive impact.5 -

16th March
Really frustrating day, but rather insignificant compared to what some of my friends on here have to deal with. Thinking of you, @Mrs_Hoffer and @lesdarts180.
Through my employer I got the opportunity to get vaccinated today. However, I would have to go to Toulon, a 3-hour train journey from Montpellier where I live. I thought it would be worth it, as otherwise I won't qualify until end of April / beginning of May, so I booked tickets, cancelled appointments for today. Then yesterday Astra Zeneca vaccination was suspended in France, so I frantically phoned and emailed my employers, to find out what was happening.
Finally got email this morning, saying No, vaccinations going ahead. Rushed to catch my train, 3-hour trip, only to find vaccinations had been cancelled, so went home again, 3 hours. Got home, to an email from employers saying "Where are you?" as my appointment was in the Military clinic next to the main hospital. I had shown my appointment slip with all the details to at least three people at the main hospital. So, here I am, spent all day travelling to and from a vaccination I didn't get ...
On the positive side, I walked to the hospital in Toulon, spurned the bus, beautiful sunny day, 15 minutes each way (uphill one way!), so 30 minutes, + 2 x 5 minutes home to station = total 40 minutes walking.
Stayed under calories, tracked. @MadisonMolly2017
@Chinkiri I'm so sorry for your terrible, horrible, awful, really bad day! Seriously tho, I'm sorry that you had to travel all over for many hours and after all that - you weren't even able to get your shot! I hope that you can get your jab soon! {{{HUGS}}} my friend!1 -

Thoughts for daily calories goalI need to revisit how I am handling my daily calorie goal for maintenance as I am “failing” in that regard as I lost another 3 lbs while “maintaining” during this month. Having two variables of food calories and exercise calories is challenging for me. In the past I have lost and maintained with less significant exercise numbers so it was more a single variable. I do not want to drop back on exercise as I am doing it for overall health and fitness.
Just use MFP to calculate my maintenance calories/day. Nutritional needs are estimated at 1590, and it predicts that with exercise, I would need 1862 for 1 hour exercise for days/week. Average Apple Watch TDEE for February was 2126. Average calories consumed/day for February were 1686. With three pound loss over the month, to maintain, I would have needed an additional 375 calories/day for a total of 2073/calories/day. So, my thought for March is to consider my daily goal, 1590 plus daily exercise, but, for planning sake, I will expect that number to be around 1900 calories.

*** First pass of the month used. Very much worth the treat – Went to Square Grouper and started with a Key Lime Martini with graham cracker rim (sorry @RangerRickL not the pie), shared appetizers of Flash Fried Conch with Ponzu and Wasabi drizzle (amazing!!), and Ahi Tuna and Avocado eggrolls with Asian dipping sauce, then an entrée of Seared Sesame Encrusted Tuna with Jasmine rice and Asian slaw, and finished with a cup of coffee and a shared Strawberry Nutella Bread pudding with warm butter rum sauce. Though I may not make winners circle at the end of March, I fully intend to end a champion.

Apple Watch TDEE: filled in following day – see spoiler
*** So while I have already gone negative on my passes and out of the winner’s circle, I am caught up with all my check-ins and though my formal tracking has been off, I have survived these past 4 days. Tuesday was 123.2, then went out to dinner and jumped to 125.2, had another off day and increased to 125.6, but this morning I am 123.8 and I do not mind that. It is 3:17 PM as I type this comment, and I just finished tracking where I am at for the day, so that I can finish strong today. Exercise has not been a daily issue lately. Tracking and total calories have been my challenge. My final post will go up later tonight once the kitchen is closed.
