Rewarded myself for being a good girl with a bunch of yellow tulips! Way hay, it's spring, I am Dutch and I have managed my exercise every day this month so far! Non-food related reward, @MadisonMolly2017! Also bought myself some little coriander and basil plants. These are food related, as they make my food taste so much better!

y'all have inspired me with the talk of plants and flowers! I think I will plan to do a few gardening projects this weekend. I have been overwhelmed the past couple years by gardening/yard work, something I used to love, but maybe by getting started early, and just doing a little at a time, I'll remember that I actually enjoy it.4 -
@Chinkiri well deserved gifts to urself! Love how ur rewarding urself with things other than food. I shld take a leaf out of ur book. Xo

Well I guess I will end up with two entries for today (Mar 19). I meant for this one to go in the Mar 18 discussion. It's been a long week.1 -

Tomorrow I have an appointment for a haircut. My last haircut was on Sep 28, 2020 β 6 month back. I wear my hair short and used to go for a cut every 5 weeks. So at the moment I look pretty wild And my first trip to the CITY since that timeβ¦ Terrific: βa big girl in a big worldβ

Sorry I'm behind on posting. My sister is going through a very rough time. She's having to move her husband into a nursing home. He's been wheelchair bound for about a year now and recently has had a stroke and is no longer able to use his right arm so he can't lift himself from his wheelchair at all. She's unable to lift him and feels she can no longer take care of him. She has many issues with anxiety, panic attacks, as well as being an agoraphobiac and TERRIFIED just to leave her house. She doesn't drive, doesn't cook, and hasn't worked in over 20 years. They moved to Cinci (about 2 hours away from me) about 3 years ago, and because of her anxieties she has made NO friends, as she never goes outside of her house! Her hubby will be in quarantine for 14 days and she cannot even visit him. She will have to use Zoom to visit and neither of them know how to do that. I spent most of last night trying to walk her through creating a zoom account and how to set up a "meeting".
@lesdarts180 I'm so sorry about your son.

@Mrs_Hoffer Thinking of you. @lesdarts180
So much pain and suffering about. Looking at my bunch of beautiful spring yellow tulips @MadisonMolly2017 and trying to remain positive.
Yes, exercise done. Not a lot, but 35 - 40 minutes, could do more. Stayed under budget calorie-wise, tracked it all. Trying to do more creative cooking, hopefully tomorrow, planning spicy lentils.
Beautiful weather. I am healthy, even though inoculation seems still a long way away. I speak to my 98-year-old Mum every morning. My kids in UK seem to be doing OK. Stepson may actually be coming this way in a few weeks. My main emotion when my partner talks rubbish is irritation, which I try and change into empathy.
Lots of trying. Lots of failing. More success than failure though. Keep going ...6 -

@RangerRickL Thankyou
Came home today, trying to come to terms with the loss. My DIL has great friends and support in the village, (we were inundated with food!) we were looked after yesterday. My daughter also visited both Thursday and today, and is a great support. I have to remember that she has lost a brother, and take time to be with her.
I am overwhelmed with all the messages and hugs from so many on these threads. Too many to mention all by name but I was particularly moved by @SummerSkier sharing her loss. Thankyou all.

@Mrs_Hoffer Sorry for the hardships your sister is facing, and it must be particularly hard on you being farther away from her during these times.
@donna25trinity I haven't been lifting heavier weights long enough to really have gained muscle yet. I'm hoping to hold on to the muscle that I do have as I lose weight. Once I'm at my goal weight, I'll probably start being stricter on protein so I can try to gain muscle mass.

Like @alligatorob I feel weird posting about how my day went, regarding UAC. Under by a lot (all exercise calories), worked out with the kids and walked again in 2 rounds. No pass so far. Trying to find balance...
@lesdarts180, you and your family remain in my thoughts and prayers.
@SummerSkier:π―is a wonderful thing to do. Hugs! π€
