Down 2 pounds this week! It is feeling like spring here in Eastern Washington State. Weather is starting to warm up and I sprung my clocks forward today. It would be great if this were the last time, I saw 175 pounds or daylight savings time. I got to play softball for the first time this year yesterday too! Another sign that spring is around the corner. Spring training for my over 65 softball team. It wasn’t a real game just practice but, nobody got hurt so it counts as a win in my books.

I hear you about the 170's, DST and Spring! I can't seem to stay out of them and I finally get to a place with plenty of places to walk and the sun won't be up until almost 8am. Then it is already getting hot! But, I'm not complaining. :) Everything is blooming here in North Texas.
Yay about the softball & nobody getting hurt!

I'm in travel mode this week so I'm going to use my last weigh before I left town. Not a big change, but anything under 170 is a win for me especially with all the moving and stuff I got going on.

    03/01: 173.0
    03/07: 167.6
    03/12: 167.3

*Goals for the month: I’m back in full force! I found myself in dirty keto land during this past month and a half and have paid for it dearly. I’ve made my way back to clean keto this past week and am feeling better already. I’m getting back into my walking (weather permitting) and extended fasting routines. This month will be weekly 72 hr extended fasts with remaining days of OMAD.

Good luck 🍀 to all with your March goals!

Hi, so I’m struggling a little to figure out what to eat and what not to eat, but with a lot of advice I think I might do better this week. I found this keto bread from Nature’s Own that I was going to try out because I like having bread with my tuna, but I have been hesitate to buy it because I don’t want it to kick me out of ketosis.

MissTonya, I watched a bunch of u-tube videos when I started keto. There are tons of keto u-tubers out there. My favorites are Keto Connect and Thomas DeLauer. Also, Dr. Berg has some very good basic keto info but, he will bug you every day about joining his channel.

Hey Stormy, I guess I never paid attention to what part of Washington you are in. My nephew plays basketball for EWU. It's his last year and they will be playing in March madness. Go Eagles!
Congrats on your loss this week ... and I am also very excited for Spring!!!

Based on the number I am losing each week, I don't think I'll make my March goal. But, I have not been depriving myself, so I am okay (for now) with the slow progress. (If I deprived myself and it was slow, that would be another matter!)

My son and I are both EWU alumni. EWU has a tough draw against Kansas in game 1. I'm rooting for them of course but I picked Gonzaga from right here in the Spokane area to win it all in my bracket. Go Egs and Zags!

This week my wife will get her second Covid Vaccine and we will enter Phase 3 of our Covid plan here in Washington State. That means both of us will be fully vaxed and ready to participate in many activities we have been avoiding to remain safe. In addition, spring is in the air calling me to do yard work and other outdoor activities I enjoy.

I’m down 1.4 pounds for the week and 16 pounds for the year. That is over halfway to my goal to lose 30 pounds in 2021. My short-term goal is to continue a losing trend in March. This will be my version of March Madness.

His name is Jacob Davison. He's done well with EWU during his time there, but struggled some with injuries, etc. You were right about Kansas!

Was doing pretty good on keto plan for months of Jan & Feb. Decided to take a few weeks off from worrying about every little bite for March. I think I'm done with my little jump off the Stress Wagon now. Ready to get back to it.

Closing out March Madness with a loss of 0.4 pounds this week, 3.8 this month, and 16.4 for the year. I feel this was my most difficult weight loss week this year. With spring in the air, my activity has improved. In addition, my diet and discipline were good this month. I need to keep focus in April. I do not want to lose motivation because progress slows down as I approach my goals. Hey, I’m still in the tournament here as we end March Madness. ;)
