Skipping gym to stream my friend's funeral. We still have limited numbers for such gatherings in the UK. Although sad, this concept of streaming funerals is a good thing as logistically getting there is often the thing that prevents us fron attending.
One more day until "half-term", desperate for some R&R. (The UK school year is organised into 3 'terms' Autumn (Sept-Dec), Spring (Jan-Easter) & Summer (Easter-mid July) roughly half way though we have a week break called half-term. Summer hols is 6 weeks & Christmas/Easter 2 weeks. Universities similar but they don't get half term as there teaching weeks terms are shorter.
Welcome to @joryrheanne @casandraW and @Dnarules
@Jax_Grim ouch! My hubbie did something like that. 3 disc damaged- physio helped him 2 repaired with the exercise but needed steroid injection so he could do the exercise to sort the 3rd. Takes time, hope the chiropractor helps & pain not too bad.1 -

Hi @joryheanne and congrats on your loss. I show your registration weight was a little higher, so you're on your way AND EARLY!!! You first weigh in for June will be on Thursday, Jun 3rd but jumping in, participating and getting a proactive start get you BIG bonus points!!! Your starting weight will stay the same so you have another week to drop a little more before we start your stats!! (Jun chart isn't ready yet)...
Enjoy the rest of your week!

Welcome to TrimStones @dwoltering5 and @Platinum1013 ! I am Jessica, one of your two captains and the other is @mulecanter. On behalf of both of us and the rest of the team, we're glad you found us!! I hope you will find this team to be as supportive, helpful and fun as I have in the years I've been here!
The month of Jun will start on Sunday, May 30th for those who are new. If you're a walking fanatic, feel free to sign up for our monthly step challenge. All I need is your first name, your daily step goal and tell me where you like to walk and I'll get you signed up. On the main Fat2Fit page where you found us and registered, you can also find the link (once it's ready), to the June weigh in spreadsheet. Once there, if you scroll beneath the weigh in chart, you'll see the step challenge chart as well. All in one handy, dandy location. You'll also find links to this chatroom as well as the June chatroom once it's open and ready to go. The Moderators will also post the link to the new June chatroom once it's open in this chatroom.
The weekly weigh in format is:
Username (JessicaKrall8)
Weigh day (Friday Weigh-in)
PW: (previous weigh-in)
CW: (current weight)
LTD (Loss to date)
Hope this is helpful. If you have questions or want to start new topics, feel free to do so in our chatroom. Again, welcome!! Good luck and I'm looking forward to watching you disappear before my very eyes!! Now post an intro and tell us a little about what you hope to accomplish this next month!!

@jessicakrall8 I had conflicting thoughts about it, but now the wife is talking about new house shopping. We have lived in a 3 bedroom converted to a 4 bedroom house thats only around 1300 sq ft with 4 kids and 4 dogs. Now, we have one kids out and another one on the way out. I'm seeing an actual home office for myself and may upgrade to something with a pool. Pool-side work days is sounding pretty darn good.4

@Jax_Grim Don't envy you the moving part, but it sounds like you guys definitely need more room...a pool would definitely be nice...don't you dare post pictures of you working by the pool or you'll just be showing off! HA! LOL! I forget where you live, but that would definitely be great to water aerobics or swimming laps for exercise...might cancel out a gym membership so it would help pay for itself in workout benefits! Keep us posted on the house hunt...and good luck finding just the right place with enough room for your whole family and fur babies!

Not sure if this is where I do my introduction, but here it goes lol:
My name is Travis. I have been married for 16 years on Jun 16th of this year. I have 4 kids. 2 boys and 2 girls. 1 of the boys and 1 of the girls are twins. I have had some medical issues recently but always have needed to get healthy. Need some motivation and support. Joining a group is totally out of my comfort zone, so I just said I'm going to do it....so here I am. Going to school to be a personal trainer so I need to get in shape for that haha.6 -

Lots going on but my dad's in a reitrment home finally. I've seen him only once since Christmas. The sale of the home is June 11th, my childhood home. I'm going this weekend to see him again. I've also applied to be an essential caregiver. Then I will visit once a month since he's 5 hours away. Once this is all sorted out then I will focus more on myself. This the first month I've gone up. With no greens yikes.2 -

@Platinum1013 Hi Travis! Wow, you've got your hands full with 4 kids...congrats on the 16 years! Many of us have medical issues, so we all understand that one and the older we get the more those things can crop up...good to have goals to improve medical issues and increase overall good health so we can all see more years ahead! Great that you're studying to be a personal trainer...you'll pass all of your successes along to others and it always feels great to give back. Take time to go back and read at least the last few pages of welcome notes in the chatroom and I'm sure many questions will be answered. Looking forward to watching you meet many upcoming target goals! WELCOME to the team! The new June chatroom will open soon and you'll see an announcement in here with the new link. Also, you'll find the link for June's chatroom on the main Fat2Fit page where you registered.
Let me know if there's anything we can do to help you in June and for many more months to come!

Good morning! Welcome all new members! Looking back, the week was okay but felt chaotic. With spring here and summer near, we have been spending more time at our cabin on the weekends which has been sooo amazing and refreshing but it leaves me little time on the weekends for grocery shopping, meal planning, and meal prepping. Additionally, kids have started playing baseball and swimming lessons again... (hooray to that) but now I am needing to relearn what it’s like to have a busy evening schedule—and it’s a struggle without the meal planning being done. I’m going to have to figure something else out. Any suggestions? When might you meal plan/prep/grocery shop?3 -

Hey Team Trimstones! As we are about to enter the 6th month of 2021 it’s time to stop and review how we are doing with our weight loss goals. Look over the June Reset graphic below and spend time evaluating what’s working and what needs improving.
We also have the JUNE HABIT TRACKER up and ready for you. So, choose the habits that you want to track, and let’s make June our best month of 2021!!

Progress is picking up again now that I've got the electrolyte thing (mostly) sorted out. Goal for June is 10 lbs. 😬
Just sucks to have a March and May that were so slow when all I'm eating is organic green leafy veggies and organic meat, no fruits or starches or refined sugar. I'm helping a friend demo their house which is a LOT more physical activity than I've done in the past so hopefully that will move things along. Trying to figure out some June exercise goals, maybe abs every day? Sticking it on this diet till October 1st regardless!5 -

WELCOME @joshuabennett1893 to TrimStones! I see your note about 10k steps a day, are you wanting to join the step challenge for June? If so, say the word and as soon as the new spreadsheet for Jun opens up, I'll add you. I'm Jessica, btw, one of your Captains. The other is @mulecanter and we'd both like to welcome you to the team.
I hope you find the team to be encouraging and helpful in assisting you in meeting your goals. Ask questions, promote discussion, share your story, talk about successes and failures...the more you use the team, the more you'll get out of it AND will likely help others by something you've shared along the way. THAT'S what it's all about!
Looking forward to watching you disappear before our very eyes! Good luck in June!
