    • Keep avoiding the coffee shops as they're on my way home from work and it's going to be another tough marking week re:leavers deadlines
    • What one food do you hope to incorporate more into your diet?
    • Range of veg especially fibre
    • What was your one big weakness last week?
    • No routine
    • What one act of kindness did you perform last week?
    • Does birthday tea with Mum count?
    • What one trigger food will you avoid this week?
    • Mochas
    • What topic would you like to read more about in our chatroom?
    • One pot recipes: this is for a slow cooker but you could adapt for one pot on stove or instapot:
Onion, mince (I use quorn mince being mainly vegetarian), red pepper, 2-3 carrots, mushrooms, tin chopped tomatoes, 250ml pasatta, stock cube (crumbled), worcester sauce - dash, dried herbs (mixed or oregano, maybe basil) on high for 3.5 to 4 hours, then add 200g small dried pasta (eg macaroni) & 200- 250ml boiling water & cook for further 30 mins. Pasta Bolognese Bake - my kids' favourite!

    Weigh in Day: Sunday

    PW: 297.7
    CW: 297.3

Just noticed my weight for last week was mistyped at 287.7 ... It was supposed to be 297.7 . I mean I am awesome, but not like 1 week less then 8 lbs. awesome. (smiles)

I have alerted the MODS and they will need to adjust the first week winners. Thanks for letting me know.

I just tried Walden Farm's Zero calorie Thousand Island Salad Dressing. It was a little sweet for me, so I think I may water it down a bit for next time, but had a huge six-cup salad green dinner salad for dinner, along with some roasted chicken. Very good...I added a few croutons, real bacon bits and sharp cheddar cheese to the salad. I've been craving a good salad for some time and I have enough to do a few more of them this week. Really comes in handy when I'm tired from work and don't want a sandwich...Walden Farm's makes several of these zero calorie dressings...looking forward to trying Bacon Ranch and Creamy Bacon later, but the store I went to (Kroger) was out of those and I'd already planned on trying the Thousand Island first...

    Anyone else have any recommendations?

Oh as I forgot to mention, I will be out of town the 14th through the 19th of this month. Wife and I are just taking a roadtrip up the coast but wifi will be spotty so won't be able to check in until we get back.
