Back at it today. Walked 43 minutes - 2.4 miles before right foot began to hurt. I think I’m going to have to invest in those Hoka shoes. My feet will thank me. :D

I finally get my pony tale cut off this morning!!! I have not had a haircut in over a year and I normally wear my hair pretty short. I am so excited! Then I am going to walk. It is gorgeous outside!!!

Oh, man! Oh, man! Oh, man!

Karen are those your new glasses? Either way I like the color flecks in them.

Did some biking this weekend and walked the dogs. Only a little bit of strength training. Some gardening also.

Shelley - So the glasses are actually like a year and a 1/2 old. My 1st time getting progressive lenses and I'll tell you I've had a really hard time getting used to them. With my dizziness, I was getting nauseous every time I put them on. So I tried it a few times and then stopped. And then finally because it's time for me to get my new glasses with my insurance plan, I figured I better figure this out. So I googlef, and tried for 3 days without switching back and low and behold it worked. So these are my old ---new glasses :) I will be getting a new pair in 2 weeks also. Hoping my prescription hasn't changed and I can use both.

30 minutes on Recumbent bike - 6.82 miles. As I suspected, my heel pain is due to plantar fasciitis the inflammation of the band of tissue that extends from the heel to the toes. The fascia first becomes irritated then inflamed—resulting in heel pain. The Podiatrist suggested physical therapy at home which includes lots stretching and icing multiple times of the day. He also encouraged me to continue to walk so I’ll start again tomorrow. If not better after a couple of weeks may need cortisone shots. I’ll be diligent with the therapy because I don’t want to take shots. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

Karen, I couldn't to the progressive lenses. Blaaa. Glad you managed them. Patrick's have three prescriptions in them. Yuck.

Kathy I hope the physical therapy works for you. Shots are not fun.

Hope you are all having a good day.

I did the same thing yesterday. Cat to the vet. They still don't let us go in with them. So I stayed in the parking lot. Walked around for a half hour. Flat surfaces seem to be okay. Too bad I live on a mountainside.

Supposed to hit 104 degrees here today. Not sure about walking. Pretty darn hot at 11:00...90 already. No wind. ...sigh...

Karen it is great you worked out the eye glass issue. They can make one feel sick at first. B)

Kathy I am so sorry. Foot pain is the worst pain. I am glad you are doing the icing and exercising. Crossing my fingers for you. I also prefer skipping shots. Order those sandals girl! <3

Paula I had to wait outside in the beginning also. I hated letting them take my pets without their mommy. :'(

Chris it is a little cooler here. But the wind has kicked up and is knocking the umbrella that is protecting my clematis over! :s

I have been riding and doing some strength training. That is about it.

The struggle is real but I got it in! 46 minutes - 2.5 miles. Hopefully I can get back to 3 miles soon. 🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

I’m looking in the Hoka website fir the walking shies and recovery slides. I think they will be a worthwhile investment.

I volunteered at a drive-through food pantry today with work. Didn't quite get as many steps as I had hoped, but I certainly did lift some heavy stuff :)
