Walked today putting me at 25/50. In the green for another day :) Tomorrow and the next couple of days will be crazy and I doubt I'll get any miles.

@JANET - OMG...that's too funny! Because yes, I start from the oldest and work my way forward and was confused that ones I hadn't gotten to yet were suddenly up-to-date!! Yes, we seemed to have met in the middle! And I agree, we make a great team. Thanks again for all the updating you did while I was away! I appreciate that so much.

The trip was amazing. We were fishing on Lake Oahe in South Dakota. We caught our limit of walleye all three days! With four of us in our boat (future FIL, BIL, and fiancée's brother) and some friends filling up two other boats, we caught 60 pretty nice walleyes each day plus assorted other fish! Some Smallmouth bass, white bass, northern pike, catfish, carp (magic goldfish lol), and a couple other odd/rare fish. Oh, and I also caught what was left of a baseball cap.

On the first day, I got the largest walleye of the trip on our boat. It's at the top-right side of the sign laying horizontally. Then on the last day, Jen's brother caught what was at least a 40 lb carp and I caught a monster of a northern...biggest I've ever landed...a 40", 20 pounder! We also had a great time bonding with each other and I got to meet some new friends of my future FIL's that he has been going with on this trip annually for several years. And small world, one of them was the Personal Training Manager at the gym I was a member of for 25 years! It was great to see him and talk to him at length outside the workout floor.

Anyway, great to be back and getting back into my normal routine again. I didn't go too crazy food & drink-wise, but I balanced behaving with enjoying myself just the right amount.

It helps if I remember to post my reply. :/
Talked hubby into a shady walk Sunday even though the temperature and humidity were miserable. Bonus, we arrived back at the car right as the sprinkles started. Managed to get in the car before the biggest raindrops and the following downpour.

Added another 13 miles for a total of 42.5 miles.....I may need to up my goal soon.

@darkrider42 Sounds like the perfect trip. Thanks for the pictures.

4.2 miles the past two days. I took today off for a break and my two cats share the same birthday, one is 3, the other 2. I decorated the sunroom where they like to hang out, with cute cat things I found online, complete with streamers, confetti and balloons. They were underwhelmed as cats like to be. But got some cute pictures out of it.

Now the "I don't want to go back to work, I want to retire" mood is hitting full force.

@CLEPANT - Thanks! I had a great time and hope to get back there sometime!

@KAR328 - Cute, a kitty birthday party! Cats are hard to impress. But give them any empty Amazon box…or…

Looks like I'm going to need to hop on my bicycle and get out for a ride to make up some ground to get back to green! Been pretty warm here lately, but probably won't hit 90's today so I can do it. :)
