June 13 - 133.4 pounds
Today was the first day I weighed this month, so I am starting late, lol. I did a good job last week at eating in moderation and exercising regularly. I just hope I can keep it up. I lost a pound and a half last month.

I've joined the Fat2Fit challenge in another group, but I'll report here on a weekly basis only as I am so close to goal weight.

I can go diving again !! The borders are still closed, but an exception is made if you do not stay longer than 12 hours, which is enough to drive - gear up - dive - gear down - have a drink - and head back home. This weekend was already planned with a virtual baby shower and some chores, so maybe next week IF I don't get side effects from my vaccine on Friday. Happy times ahead!

We were able to switch a little bit around our weekend, and we managed to squeeze in a dive on Saturday evening! Wooohooo

No gain, which is a bit of a miracle as I have been eating like a hoover. I've been moving around pretty well, but we haven't been diving this weekend as we both got vaxed last Friday and we wanted to make sure we wouldn't get side effects during the dive. Yesterday, hubby ran 24km/15miles and I followed by bike. He is training for a marathon again and has enrolled for the Tokyo marathon in October. Nowhere sure that the whole thing will happen with current travel regulations and I surely don't feel comfortable going from nearly 1,5 years of living like a hermit and then suddenly travel around the globe to the largest city in the world to attend a mega event. We'll see. At the moment, I'm just glad that he is in a good place with regards to food and fitness.
Anyway, still 4 days to work and as from Friday I have one complete week off !3 -

Had a blast at the lake house over the weekend. Early morning boating and lunch with friends.
Late night drinks and chat with neighbors ( did more than 4 shots of liquor!?)
We had steaks, burgers, roasted cauliflower, asparagus and so much more!! I need to start taking pictures 😅
Anyway, enjoyed every bit of it❤️ And I didn’t gain anything!!

I missed posting this weekend! The scale definitely said 130lbs a couple of times, so I think it's real. Finally, after a year on MFP, I've lost 15 lbs. It was a busy week at work and I didn't workout as much as I would have liked but, but I have been careful what I eat. So take that scale! I'm going to keep trying for a few more pounds and tone up more, especially my upper body.
@stacyrey12 welcome to the thread! You look seriously fit!
@weatherking2019 - can you eat (and drink!) like that all the time on IF and not gain?! Amazing!
@GazelleLady - great loss!
@Antiopelle a trip anywhere for any reason sounds good right now, although Tokyo sounds daunting. I'm going to first travel to see my folks and then be wild n crazy and visit my sister in Europe (and eat all the chocolate, wine, bread and cheese that I want). It's just been so long!3 -

Hi! My sister is in Switzerland and my favourite aunt is in Germany. We had planned a whole European adventure for summer 2020 but we all know how that turned out.... You are in Belgium? Or northern somewhere.....0 -

Just 10 more pounds...
It seems to just get harder the closer I am to my goal I'll walk into the kitchen and eat 10g of almonds without even thinking because I'm so tired.
Recently I just don't have the energy for this, keeping up with my MFP still.
Going to try and get back into keto to knock those cravings over the head! Bye-bye sweet potatoes
Just a bit bummed out I suppose, feels to be at the tail end of a weight-loss journey though!
I started out 150+lbs! 10 more is nothing!3 -
@k8richer, I just skip breakfast and have coffee and water. Then lunch and dinner within the 8hrs. I limit the carbs but not crazy. Probably under 100g. Then I stick to vodka and soda splash of juice.
I been missing wine but doable.
Being mindful is all I stick to. Cuz you gotta live life♥️2 -

Yups, Belgium it is. Poststamp size with three official languages and 4 governments, but also loads of chocolates, waffles and Brussels sprouts1 -

Just keeping IF ( skipping breakfast) and no booze during the week and keeping low carb.
Packing boxes and moving boxes for the move is rather hard. That itself is my workout for now. And to continue for awhile... but excited that our oldest is going off to college and 2 younger ones will be starting new school.

Hey all! I'm going to jump back on this train after taking a pandemic off from the group Like many people, I added on a few more pounds at the beginning of the pandemic. Beginning Jan 1, I restarted my health eating and exercise. I have lost ~25 pounds since Jan 1st and have a little more to go. But that 'little more' is proving to be very stubborn!
The forums don't work well on my app, but my goals for the rest of the month are as follows:
1) Check in here every morning next week and post weekly updates!
2) Do strength training/PT for my back and core every day
3) Continue high veggies/carb cycling and photo food logging.
I will check in with updated goals in July!5 -

June goal - see how much I can fix in 12 days. My MIL lived with us for about 6 wks, she's a fabulous cook...but it's all mexican food and super carby. I opted to just let it go since it was a temp situation... she's moved into her new house and it's time for me to quit being lazy with my diet. I'm going back to logging all my food.. I've been avoiding the scale for 3-4 days, but enough is enough. I feel extremely bloated, so I'm betting some of this drops right off. Good to see those of y'all that are remaining consistent!

I am not sure if I should believe I lost a pound in one week, but I will take it. I've noticed that my cycling shorts are slightly easier to squeeze my butt into, so I reckon that's a victory.4 -
My first comment on MFP 😮
Hi 😊
Since January, I'm down 9kg.
All together, since I started in 2020, I'm down 21kg.
I want to lose another ~4-5kg to then maintain at around -22-23kg.
My goals for June:
- maintaining my loss - I have a lot of occasions to eat unhealthy lined up, so I don't want to get frustrated at seeing no results,
- staying active by hiking, rock climbing, walking and doing simple bodyweight exercises,
- keeping focused on weight loss, even though my goal is to maintain for this month,
- eating my usual meals throughout regular days,
- feeling good about my progress, rather than stressing about the fat I have left on me.
Major goal achieved for me for this summer: NO MORE CHAFING! 🥳🥳🥳 I can't tell you how fresh I feel walking around without that constant sweaty rub 🤣 I'm loving it.5 -

June 20 - 130? I broke my scale (well, I wore out the batteries) so I'm just guessing....but I feel fit 😀
With lockdown restrictions lifting, my bootcamp (hiit with weights) is back on 2x week. Yay!
Fell off the diet wagon a few times this week, however. As penance, I will list here the crap I ate that had no redeeming value (no protein or nutrients etc): french fries, ice cream sandwich, peanut M&Ms and brie cheese. Did you know brie has the same fat content as butter? You might as well be eating a slab of butter. But it tastes so good on baguette!
To burn all that off I ran 6.5km this morning through country roads and wooded trails. It was brilliant. We are at the cottage and I always get a great run in before the heat hits. Once I'm home with better wifi I will send pics.4 -
Trying to post pics....Here is me pre-run, flexing my pipes (ha ha!) and post-run on the dock with my kid. It was a beautiful day!

I lost over 30 pounds using MyFitnessPal a few years ago by holding myself accountable and spending time looking through the community threads. I've gained about 10 pounds since then that I'd like to lose. I want to do it by modestly cutting calories so I maintain a healthy metabolism and keep up strength training.
Goals this week: Cut 500 calories per day (1630 BMR+Exercise-500)
No alcohol until Saturday afternoon post-race.2 -

Made it to week 9 of my 12 week running plan. I'm challenging myself to run every other day so I can finish the plan by June 30th.
