Be strong and don’t ever give up on your goals and dreams. It may take us longer but when we truly eat and exercise wisely we will be farther ahead then any fad diet. Perhaps they are envious of you spin it that way, enjoy the rest of June you got this.6 -
@pamjsa
Hopefully the heatwave will end soon the humidity gets me in the Adirondacks when it settles in it’s hard to be motivated so I usually try for early morning or late evening I even spin in front of the fan! Perhaps joining UAC for July would be good keeps you on track for consistency enjoy your travels8 -
I didn't have time to post anything other than my daily status last night. So catching up now.
First, a huge thanks to ALL of you for the UAC! It takes some very special and dedicated people to make this challenge available month to month.
But it also takes incredibly dedicated people who use it to truly make it successful. The ones who decide to do something to help themselves, take up this challenge, post here, and most importantly find a way to keep going!
Sometimes it's routine to keep going, sometimes it's coming back after "life happens" again (and that *kitten* keeps happening), sometimes that's a few days, other times could be much longer.
There are so many amazing and inspiring people here with so many different (and some incredibly difficult) stories. But all of them are choosing to take up this rather basic, yet also difficult challenge. And that's what it's all about. Taking charge of yourself.
I think that's the special magic of UAC. Success can be inspiring (and fun to measure in such a challenge format), but seeing people bounce back from those times life happened again helps to remind us all why we get back up when we fall down.
Thank you ALL.7 -

Who knew that handling the steering wheel was such a good calorie burner.

You are most welcome @calvin20874; it was nice to be able to contribute (and use my former career skills!)
I’m glad you’re on this journey with the rest of us & find UAC an integral part - as I do!
Best,

Exercise – yes, bike ride 30 minutes (it was cold and wet!), and some light cardio.
Tracking – yes
Calories – yes
2 pass days.
I’m late posting this – didn’t do it last night so catching up on Saturday evening.
@MadisonMolly2017 Remind me what a “cheerleader” role entails? I’m only home on two Mondays (5th and 19th ) and 2 Wednesdays (14th and 21st ) in July so not sure I can commit to anything that involves doing much writing as I find it difficult to write much when using my phone. And I have not succeeded in loading any pictures in these threads either using laptop or phone.
Thanks again to all those who have stepped up to keep the group going.

Hi @lesdarts180!
Thanks for considering!
You would read all the posts on a day & make some comments on 3-6 of them or so!
@clutterqueen can do Mondays or Wednesdays.
Mrs_Hoffer will do Mon July 5
SModa61 Wed July 14
Would you like to do Monday July 21 & give it a try!
@clutterqueen could then do the Wednesdays!!!
Pls let me know!
Best,
🌸Maddie

@seilidhe I hope one of the reasons to keep checking in on the UAC is that you are not alone. Lot of us are right here with you!
Thanks for sharing your journey with me and with us.

@WhatMeRunning You are so right that we need both the participation of leaders and team members to make the UAC work and be worthwhile.
Thanks for all you do too!

Too hot to cook, ordered a pizza and didn't track until after I ate. Pass day #5 (I think??). It's the 25th and I'm still here, still tracking, and my log in streak is the longest it's been in a year and that's something worth celebrating!6

As as I catch up, I'm logging in reverse chronological order so a lot of these updates are shocking to say the least.
Change can be good and helps us grow 🤗
