Back at it on Sunday after 2 days off. Morning walk 62 minutes - 3.21 miles. 30 minutes on the recumbent bike 6.45 miles..

I am back at work. Did a stay at home vacation mostly. Went to WA for 3 days total. One there, one to visit, and one back. Having an old blind dog is hard at times. I won't leave him in the custody of anyone else. No way. We went on the mountain most days. Walked some. Biked mostly and just hung out with mom. She can't go far.

Back to work and proper eating post vacation! Had a great time and delicious food.....walked a ton. Back to OMAD and resetting.

New week. Letβs get it, get it, get it! 60 minutes on Recumbent Bike 13.96 miles. πͺπΎπͺπΎπͺπΎ
Had to take my father for lab work so couldnβt beat the heat to walk early. Then it rained here in the evening so still couldnβt get walk in. Will be up and at the park early tomorrow morning if not raining. Dad has treatment Wednesday so it will be a long day.

Shelley - I really like history too. In Boston, we walked the Freedom Trail. 2.5 miles of history. So exploring and a workout! Worth doing if you get to Boaton. Really interesting!

Everyone read the August thread that Chris posted. We need to give some input.
Karen it was truly amazing all the history. I can't imagine packing for a 2 week trip let alone a 4-6 month walk/ride across the country without convenience stores along the way.

60 min workout w/my trainer this afternoon. Got over 100 degrees today! Hot! Hot! Hot! Hoping to walk tomorrow morning...legs are getting antsy...we'll see.

That heat is no joke. Got my walk in early then came home and worked out on the Recumbent. Walked 42 minutes - 2.15 miles. Recumbent 45 minutes - 10 miles.

Chris, Hope your heatwave breaks soon. Lots of valley folks heading over here to the coast where it's a typical foggy summer. Can just imagine how good the cool looks to people with elevated body temperatures. Wish I could blow it over to you.

Yeah, well, some things don't always work out the way you expect. Going done a sidewalk I've been down a zillion times...took my eyes off the cracks to look a a cute dog and I tripped ...face-planted...hit my right knee and my lip. Lip is fine...make-up will hide it...my knee is swollen ugly. Icing it every 20 mins. I have always been so careful with my knees. I squished my right knee years ago on an old carpet covering a cement floor. Heard it...felt it. Man, oh man!! I have been working really hard to get back to pre-surgery strength and now this. UGH!!! I am so NOT HAPPY!!!!

That is not your fault! Sidewalk cracks should not be so high that they become trip hazards. I'm serious! Municipalities perform preventative maintenance to prevent it.
Are you going to go to the doctor? That can be serious at our age. If it is, contact City/County and file a complaint. Document it - pictures, descriptions, medical records.

It leveled off this month. But it got to 149 twice (barely, but hey). So even though it's moving at a snail's pace, it feels like progress...0 -
