@Katmary71 Uggghhhh I’m so mad for you that you are having to go through so much medical crap. Why can’t they just give you what you need? I hope your dad has a great birthday!
@jan110144 Yup just do your best this weekend and mostly have an awesome time!
@GabiV125 Stay safe while traveling. Being a good role model is a good motivator.
@leonadixon So sorry for the loss of your friend! (((hugs)))
Hi Team! Today was a good day. I did my church cleaning and then came home and did some housework and started this week’s homework for my Thursday Bible study. This study is awesome and I really want to devote myself to getting as much out of it as I can. I did lose much this week but seeing the scale in the 175s was a big milestone for me. Now to keep pushing that number down!

@askewcr Happy 60th birthday!!!
@renaegry Sounds like you are working hard.
@tammymccrady6278 Oh yeah, vending machines AND a cafe...it's rough! Yes, more forward than back. The scale is headed in the right direction, way to go!
@Cornanda Yeah, I find the same thing, hard to get back to normal.
@TeresaW1020 No, we don't acknowledge our progress. That is something I am trying to do now. What a great NSV, not getting into the candy! Yay! Congrats on the loss, well done!
@coolscience181 @davors19 Congrats on the losses!
@Katmary71 What a pain your insurance is making you go through. That's shameful on their part.
@jan110144 Have fun and just do your best!
@GabiV125 Good luck with the move and well done on the loss!
@leonadixon I'm so very sorry for your loss. Hugs to you.
Hi all. Well, I had a gain again. I'm realizing a couple of things about myself: someone here said this (I think it was Cornanda?)...I'm either going to track or I'm not. If I don't, I'm giving up on myself so I am going to continue to track. I'm either going to track or I'm not: I can do that for free, I don't need WW so I quit WW and am tracking in Cronometer now. If I don't get a handle on my eating, all of the exercise in the world won't make a difference. With all of this in mind, I'm trying something new this week. I'm going to focus on healthy habits and not paying attention so much to the scale. I am going to stop weighing daily and just work on my healthy habits. Things like drinking at least 70 oz of water a day, eating 5 servings of fruits & veggies a day, and on and on. I will think about it today and come up with my healthy habits. One thing I will definitely do is track my food. Today will be a challenge, I am going out to eat for my birthday (it's not for another couple of weeks) with my officemate for her birthday too. She's a big dessert eater so will surely push dessert on me.

@Katmary71 - Grrrrrr, those doctors! Those insurance companies! Not fun! I pray for you.
@jan110144 - hope you had fun and found some decent things to eat.
@GabiV125 - hope the move goes well!
@leonadixon - So sorry to hear about your friend.
@TeresaW1020 - well. You caught me! Congrats!!! (see weigh in.....)
@trooworld - all those things you are focusing on are NSVs and they are very important. Good to give yourself credit for them no matter what your weight is. And you are correct- one thing I learned at WW is "you can't outrun a fork!!!"
Not happy with another gain this week. It's time to turn this ship and get going in the right direction! I was closing in on 20 lbs lost. I was getting close to seeing a 6 for that middle number. Feeling disappointed with myself. Nothing to do but try again.
Plan to have a reasonable weekend- all tracked. Will try to work in some extra exercise this week before we leave on our trip. While traveling, will watch portions and take healthy snacks along.

Because of the 3h time zone difference, we were wide awake at 4am and at 6am when they opened I was the first in line for coffee 😁.
Weird thing yesterday for 12,000 steps FitBit game me only 180 calories-
Today I ignored all that and got 15,000 steps. I showed him!

Sorry for the late weigh in post. I had a busy week.
I haven't been drinking enough water, and my body is reminding
me of that with some painful leg cramps. I will focus on increasing
my water intake this weekend.
I will also start a new running training program later this month,
so I am looking forward to getting back on track with my running goals.
Have a great weekend everyone!2 -

finally got back into the groove of exercising, still tryna inculcate the habit of a healthier diet but baby steps!3 -
@Cornanda Yeah I figure if I focus on changing behaviors, the weight will come off naturally I think. Indeed...no outrunning the fork! No, all you can do is keep trying. Good luck with your trip, I hope it goes well. Sorry about the gain.
@cherrymajoni Congrats on the loss!
@leayjw It looks like your exercising paid off, well done! Baby steps indeed, that's the best way to go.
Good morning everyone. Today's a new day to try to make healthier decisions and that's indeed what I am going to do.

@trooworld I like that about forward or backward food.
This is going to be fast because Asher's yowling at me to pet him. Workouts are still going great, stomach is better too. I'm going out for my Dad's birthday tonight, I haven't seen my family in awhile so it'll be nice to see them, an aunt from WA is in town as well and I haven't seen her for a couple years. Keep up the great work team!2 -

@trooworld I like your new approach for this coming week to focus on healthy habits and not so much on what the number on the scale says. You nail your nutrition, and the weight will follow! Great graphic and what a good question to ask. Is this a forward or backward food?
@Cornanda Looks like we are in a neck and neck scale race! Let’s use that motivation to spur us both onward this week.
Hi Team! Today has been a good day. I had church this morning and then home relaxing. I have a big pot of meat sauce smelling up my house now to take to my friends for our dinner party this evening. There will be 14 of us with staff and spouses, so it’s sure to be a fun evening with lots of laughs and great food. I’m sure I will eat more than planned but tomorrow I will be back at it. I’ve already planned out next week’s menu. I had to give up on the workout program I’ve been doing because the dancing was causing me knee issues. I have to do more structured exercises where I can pay attention to form. So, I’m doing Beachbody’s LIIFT 4. I love weightlifting and the HIIT is intense and challenging enough to push myself without hopefully causing an injury. OK, I gotta go get ready to have a fun evening!
