    Yesterday something wonderful happened.
    I got my new mattress and this morning I woke without any discomfort or pain.
    No more laying in a hole hurray!.

    You are doing great! I don't know how you manage to squeeze so much exercise into one day, but it is paying off for you!

    Thank you. I'm retired, with plenty of time on my hands, so I'm currently getting in 2 to 4 hours of exercise daily. However, I have been doing this at the cost of some other activities, like reading and playing guitar (all my hard-earned calluses are totally gone now!). I know this isn't sustainable, but I'll keep doing it for a while longer.

    Not much progress lately. I’ve had a few family celebrations and got off track. But glad to at least not have gained. I’ve lost about 6kgs since May I think. I’m trying to at least not gain

    The beginning of the week went so well, I was tracking my calories, walking and going to the gym but by Thursday I felt like I lost my energy, I was just drained and so everything slipped 😪
    I've made a plan for this coming week, with regards to food, days at the gym (going with my sister so I can't get out of it) and my walks. I hope I do better!

    October is Cancer Awareness Month.

    My gym, In-Shape, is donating a dollar for every social media post of a member's workout that references this tag #InshapeFightsCancer. I'm sure there's a limit to how much they'll donate, but here's my shout out:

    ☯ I'm still chasing that elusive 100 pound weight loss goal of mine.
    I'm at over 95 pounds lost since July of last year,
    but I've been here for ~3 months now!
    ☯ I am currently completing two step goal challenges:
    🚶‍♂️ challenge 1: complete 300,000 steps in the month of October.
    As of right now, I'm at 219,675 steps (average 12k+ steps/day).
    🚶‍♂️ challenge 2: complete 10,000 steps minimum, 30 days in a row.
    I started October 1st, so I've completed 18 out of 30 days.
    (#2 is harder, as it's 10k steps per day minimum, not average).
    🚶‍♂️ On my October morning walks, I've walked 47.6 miles.
    🏊‍♂️ During my October swimming: I've swam 28,625 yards.
    ☯💪🧘‍♂️ In addition, I do some resistance training, yoga, and water aerobics.
