Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? yes - nice to get a 5 miler in after my long run yesterday with no issues
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? yes
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? yes
I think I don't go off the rails with emotional eating so much as sometimes I am just hungry and want something more. Then I sometimes forget to stop. I find that forcing myself to LOG as that happens slows the process down to where I can recognize that the original reason for eating more has long since left the building.
Great topic today.
So awesome u are at this point. Must be lovely0 -

Updating my Oct 18th status. About one in the morning, when I was still waiting for the post-op call from my father's surgeon, I headed for the spare halloween candy. Turns out the surgeon called my mother instead of me (I was the post-op instruction) and my mother thought it was too late to call me. Meanwhile, I "knew" that I needed stay awake to take the call to inform my mother who was otherwise not going to get informed. argh! So Oct 18 has technically been a pass if I were counting them (did not join until the 16th of the Oct challenge).10

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? No
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes
Dealing with some personal drama last week and got off track with posting. Pretty sure every day was a pass day, even when I did get a workout done.6 -
Exercise: Done.
Tracked: Yes.
Within calorie budget: Yes.
I used to beat myself up about eating sweets or fast food which only made it worse because I'd start spiraling and therefore start emotional eating, etc. I know the blog post is questioning if those cookies are really deserved but ever since I do tell myself I deserve it (because, honestly, I do deserve to eat something delicious that I very much enjoy) I don't feel guilty about it anymore which in turn stops the spiraling so I ultimately eat less of it. And I also kinda stopped buying most unhealthy foods ever since because by not restricting myself, those foods aren't even on my mind anymore.4 -

I'm so glad you're back! I've missed your! Sorry about the personal drama - been there, done that! Ugh. I know how difficult that can be. The key is to just keep coming back!1
