Exercise: walking (as usual) more than 9150 steps and not quite bedtime yet so a few more before day is fit-bit done at midnight.
Logged: everything - smaller breakfast and smaller lunch than yesterday
Target met: very much so. ate right up to the pre-exercise limit (only maybe 25 cals over) and also stepped significantly farther ... so much more in the exercise-earned column, but have left over 100 cals uneaten. Not planning on any more intake today.5 -

I had to laugh at @bradkcrew’s story. I too am fascinated by people who make a serving of dessert (especially good dessert) last for several days. I will finish even a bad dessert.

@bradkcrew my hubby is like that. He can eat 1 small single size reese's peanut butter cup, and be fine. I would want several...... (he has a whole bag of singles in the cupboard). He can eat a few bites of pie or a cake, and be done with it..... I can eat mine, and then ask him if he's not going to eat that, can I have it!? I can't wrap my brain around that either!8 -

Agreed on the need for a LOL button, especially today! Sadly I'm a 'eat it all if it's in the house' person. My idea of self control was not to have it in the house. If I really wanted it, I had to ģo out and buy it. Most times I wouldn't. That worked well until my daughter was born. She could never figure out where her unfinished suckers disappeared to when she woke up from her nap...
Yes x 3 today. Started the day off wrong by discovering some yogurt covered pretzels while making my coffee. But I recovered nicely and managed to finish the day slightly under.8 -

Exercise - Yes! Started my core strength program today. 30 minutes walking. Outdoor walk was much shorter today.

I think I will do the weekly averages too.
I’m realizing that if I eat a bit too much one day, I do naturally eat less the next day -
Ditto steps. I’ve been walking consistently more steps so my 5K yesterday still left me with 11k averages.

Exercise – yes – bike ride plus dancing in the evening!

Checking in on Saturday am as we were out late Friday evening. We had dinner out and I managed to find the strength to have a simple sorbet for dessert instead of cheesecake or some other fat and sugar bomb! One strategy I use for dinner out is to fill up with a big bowl of fresh fruit salad and a low fat yogurt before I go out.

I had an awful headache all day but I followed the plan.
I feel like I am fairly good at this kind of strength, but I am constantly tempted by the kids' snack shelf. I try not to even go there, but lately I have been sometimes. I should work on that setup more so I never have to go there.3 -
