Not only didn't I lost but I gained. Last week I hit 178 and I just had to ruin all week training within 2 days. The weekend was a disaster. Didn't log, didn't exercise that much, and didn't drink enough water at all. I just can't understand what has gotten into me. I need to fix that this week.
@IvanaKirilova We all do it sometimes....after a loss on the scales we get a little complacent. In the back of our minds we figure we "deserve this treat" or "deserve this day off" because we had a good weigh-in. You know why the number went up, and you know how to make it come back down again. Learn from the weekend and really examine what was going through your mind at the time....and then let it go and move forward.1 -
Good news was hubs said one kiddo made comment to him about changes he could see in me.Β He had only seen me all wrapped up in coats atΒ his games in past month so been a while since I was in "regular clothes". I will take it! π

I have a feeling this entire week is just going to be off for me. Probably not on much and definitely not on my accountability schedule as i have been. I am taking in all 3 to 5 kiddos (haha grrown and college kiddos) running in and out along with an extra cat and dog. (My house was quiet last week with just hubs and me and a fish!) This is in addition to prepping for the big meal and all the cooking that comes my way over the next two days. Hoping the scale will be nice to me tomorrow but i also know i havent been eating right (or enough) and that is not gonna help me. After 2 big weeks I am hoping for a continuation but will settle for no gain. **we wont even discuss next weeks weigh in after the holiday!

@DaffyGirl88 Sorry about that. The concert was good, though. I thought the cold would have made her voice weak, but it didn't. She sang for a solid 90 minutes. It was hard to carry a drink and food and eat in a lawn chair in the dark, so I just had one cup of wine and some french fries. We had some more wine and nachos with salsa back at our friends' place afterwards.1 -

Walked 4.52 miles. I was able to jog 1 of those mile without stopping. Also did 4.71 miles on my exercise bike.
Drank 80 oz of water today.
Stayed within my daily calories.

I think we are all getting really busy with holiday stuff. I unpacked some more totes and boxes. Washed some glass dishes and reorganized cupboard space. I am starting a yard sale box for spring. I have way too much stuff. I sure have a lot of stuff, threw a few pottery dishes out that I had made.

Hi.
I'm sorry to have been missing for the last couple of months. I had 3 holidays close together and I've asked to rejoin the group in December. I've had a fabulous time but not weighing in and no way to measure my food I have inevitably put on weight. I need to lose at least some before my birthday and Christmas.
Lots of changes on this site while I've been away...I'll try to hone my navigational skills.

I will take the loss but hoping to get on a better track of eating enough to not slow my progress..well.. enough of the right foods! I know the next week weigh in will be rough.. but I do have 3 days to sweat this weekend off after the kiddos leave.
My full house was here and running before 8 so gonna be another busy day of kids, animals and togetherness. At least they are all old enough to use knives and not take half my food with it when they peel... they have some major peeling to do for foods and pies. π3 -

Sometimes I just want to give up. I take one step forward, and then 10 back. Ugh!
I finished my free week at the gym(did great!) And then came down with a nasty cold, so asked if I could sign up but wait until today to activate it, as I thought i would be feeling better... nope! Guess who has covid! Yep, me!
Now, I have to quarantine at least 10 days, out of work for 14, and can't start using my brand spanking new gym membership until I'm symptom free. We also will be missing out on seeing family that we haven't seen in two years. Meanwhile, hubby's fine and just upset that I've got covid, so he can't go. The only positive is i won't be eating all that food.
I'm just upset because I've got my plan in motion, and am hitting every speed-up along the way!
But, because I still feel awful, I'm going back to sleep... Maybe this time will go REALLY fast. *fingers crossed*4 -

Thank you for your support, encouragement and advice last week . I was able to get back up from last week, even though my dieting isn't perfect because of being relaxed with the holiday. I am not binging.2 -
