    Another rough holiday schedule coming up. I'm in for 100 miles.

    Starting with 7 miles for 7 out of 100.

    Adding 16 miles for 23 out of 100.

    @Leanz - Beautiful lab. :smile: The sprained wrists sound painful! Hope Ibuprofen helps that.

    @vhuber - That's a lot of vacuuming!!! I think you could definitely take five or more miles for that much. It's not just the steps, the pushing the vacuum back and forth is an upper body work out for sure. :wink:

    December already and I am still blowing leaves, cleaning out garden beds, laying down mulch and wood chips. Thanks Dave and Janet for being keepers of the miles. Please put me down for 100 this month.
    @Lenz: So sorry to hear about your doggie fall.I had my pastor’s lab for the last week and she can be a handful on her walks, especially if she sees squirrels, deer and other dogs. Even on a gentle leader she can be a handful.

    Dec. 3: 6 mikes walking

    Sorry I've been MIA. I'm upping my goal to 75 this month. Fingers crossed. I have 6 miles so far.

    @leanz - ouch! Sorry to hear about your fall, but how could you not forgive that adorable creature. Miss my labs so much! Hope you feel better soon.

    My bid for December is 40 purposeful miles … fingers crossed I manage it. My splint/boot comes of this weekend and I need to slowly build up the strength in my ankle. More crucially I need to work on my core … this last twelve months have seen a serious depreciation in core strength. ETA : November saw me complete 36.44 miles :'(

    @vhuber - I’ve just seen your post. I'm so sorry you're going through this. I'm sure it was a difficult decision to make. I hope you get the outcome you want. (((BIG HUGS))
    @kar328 - I’m glad the combination of treatment has helped a little with your heel.
    @Leanz - your Golden Lab is lovely …. and therefore forgiven. I hope you have a speedy recovery.

    Something to make you smile … I was listening to a radio phone in and the member of the public described herself as a Sports Therapist who dealt with a wide range of sports injuries … her name was … Linda Cartilage. It made me laugh out loud!

    I hope you all had a good weekend!

    I had a nice run this morning. I've been trying some speed intervals to try to pick up the pace and today I tried doing a tempo run. Very pleased with how it went. The speed work seems to be helping. Plus it was cool out LOL. I'm at 13/75.
