Goodness December is a difficult month. I see everyone’s struggles and your successes, and thought that today I’d offer something that has helped me with motivation and goal setting in the past.
I used a visualization tool to help me see the changes I had already made, and set goals for future change.
Here are a few simulators that are currently available, and my insights on each.
Model My Diet:
- Free
- Available as an app or on a web platform where there is no requirement to create an account
- Can customize height, weight, age, body shape, general bust size, skin tone, eye shape, hair colour, hair style (and facial hair for men), outfit, and background.
- Offers a 2D simulator

Today was the day I cleaned my oven, all the horrid racks scrubbed and shiny my hands are aching
I gave up and put the xmas tree up thou before the house was fully ready, Its only the kitchen to finish
Should be done in a cpl days then there will be much relaxing

Is anyone else having (just in the past few hours) difficulty getting to the Home / Food / Exercise side of MFP? It won't open or refresh for me, yet it seems I can get here to the Community side. (Good thing I already pre-logged up to supper, and was ontrack at that point so long as I Stick To The Plan )4

Minor correction ... Is anyone else having difficulty getting the the MY HOME Wall? I can make additions / deletions / corrections in the Food Log, Exercise Log and here in Community, but it can't seem to show me The Wall for some reason.0 -

It goes without saying, the FitBit integration has never improved since the “upgrade” when it all really fell apart. There are more issues being reported. That is on a separate thread in the Tech Help.
Santa is bringing me an Apple Watch. I have been on a Charge 3 FitBit and wouldn’t “gift” this to anyone. It will be tossed.

Well, pass day #3. Both ok with it and not, really. I didn't get anything done, not even goofing off. The day literally didn't even seem to happen, just went from morning to now. Needless to say my mindset was, "It's ok to take a break today", but doesn't feel like I got to enjoy a break. Quite weird
So, hope to have a regular day tomorrow m I'm off my game and need to at least show up to the game.

Thanks, @jamcnewman ! I have a fitbit One (very auld school) and haven't been aware of connection issues (but either there is stuff a newer fancier Fitbit model like yours COULD be doing <=> MFP and isn't that mine can't anyway, or I just don't even know it is "wrong" )
I would still keep mine for the step-counting, like I was using it for prior to discovering how to link it to MFP (only very recently started that for myself)2 -

I have the app where I track my food (MyNetDiary) & my Apple Watch data feed into a third app. Took me Months to find it & it saves me so much time!
FITIV is it’s name. Awesome way to look at trends etc!
I also join several teams on the “Challenges” - don’t wanna let the team down! Motivating!!

I love my apple watch especially being able to swim and kayak with no water worries. I use a zones app the free version and it tracks a fair amount of data such as todays walk at lunch 37 minutes heart rate at 71% and a pace of 2.9 mph all free good data.
I tracked I logged and exercised perhaps my month will get better.6 -

* 2 walks but no run or weights as bub woke up early plus I slept in longer than I shld hve. I'm disappointed in myself but I've promised myself to make them both up on Saturday.

* Monitored sugars but over, will def need to work on this as this is becoming a daily issue but my focus atm is on grazing, and my workouts. Onnce these are cemented and easy I can focus on sugar. Xo
