Shared this earlier on my feed, but realized many of you aren't on it...enjoy a giggle!
Crazy busy day today...set my alarm incorrectly this morning (6:30pm not am) and woke late after being awake from 330am to 5 (not sure why)...rushed to work and couldn't do my hair...and had to order something for lunch...placed an order and the doordash site crashed. After an hour, they cancelled my order. Caught a colleague who brought me lunch back after her lunch so finally got to eat at 2pm. I only eat two meals a day...I was ravenous. STARVING...WHEW! I'll be over on cals today, but I've done the best I could. My foot is hurting but not too bad, so hoping to walk more tonight. Gotta finish work first...**sigh** More later...
Got home and walked a little over a mile...feeling ok. Might even do a bowl of cereal and maybe a piece of baked chicken reheated for a little protein. Might not be over on cals after all.
I do not want another day like today for a while.

Ramblings of the day
Good morning team. I had a decent day. Gym was fine. When I got home, there was a package in my garage that wasn't for me. The streetname wasn't even similar so no idea how they got it confused. Thankfully it wasn't very far from me, so I dropped it off at the right place.
I unexpectedly got a huge amount of Christmas money from my mom and her partner. They really went a little crazy this year. I put a little over half in my savings account and with the rest I ordered more tea and tins, 9 books, a birthday present, a new cat tree for Tinus and 4 plants with pots for in the livingroom. I am very grateful for the money. I often have a hard time spending money on myself, so it is really nice to be able to buy these things that I otherwise wouldn't have gotten. Happy Thursday everyone5 -

@Beka3695 Nice loss today!!! Look at you go!!! WOOHOOOOoooo!
@pupowl What an awesome surprise!! Sounds like you're wise and careful with money as I am...not cheap...frugal!!! It's the small things in life that are important...
I'm having a really strong day today...walked 2 miles so far today...hit my daily step goal by 1:15pm YAY! Gonna take it a little easier this afternoon...working from home today...walking on my breaks and I have one lesson to teach tonight at 5:45pm...then it will be dinner and reading I think. I caught a really good sale on black Friday and bought some lovely books online...free shipping, all on sale and got cash back with Rakuten as well. WIN, WIN, WIN! I love to read. Most of these are light-hearted holiday stories...a few mysteries...should keep be busy for a bit! LOL
Hope you're all having a lovely day!

I weighed in yesterday, was just super busy and forgot to post it. It has been a good week, My daughter is right back to her old self, We had a follow up and she is 100% back to normal.
I have been back onto my workout regimen this week, but man it is hard to wake up early and head out to the garage to workout when is is so cold, It was about 7 degrees this morning, with a reel feel of -10, eek. But I did it. My sister in law moved in with us and said she wanted to start working out with me and would be my workout buddy, but she hasn't warmed up to the Idea of getting up at 430am hahaha. But I told her she is welcome to using my equipment and I my workout videos, so we will see if she really is wanting it. Not often are you handed access to a free gym and I have quite a good selection. So if she really wants it, she has zero excuses.5 -

Oh man, I have done that with my alarm also. This morning I vaguely remember my alarm going off and I shut it off, that was at 4am. Suddenly I woke up from a dead sleep in a panic because I realized I had shut my alarm off, I frantically shot up and checked the time thinking I was late, it was 4:35am, so I threw my gym clothes on, walked outside in the freezing cold and worked out for an hour.4 -
Hello Shape Shifters!! Here’s my maintenance weigh-in report, which is not included in the team results 😅.
Name: PatriceFitnessPal
Weigh-in Day: Thursday
PW: 125.4
CW: 125.8
SW: 168
LTD: 42.2
Maintenance goal: 125-130 (Female; A little under 5’4”)
My weight is creeping up and I’ve been busy with end-of-year tasks for my business so I haven’t been able to establish a new exercise routine for winter. Our family is taking a vacation Dec. 25 - Jan. 4 with a mix of activity and relaxation. So, I’m just hoping to hold as close to 125 as possible until we return. Then, I’ll really concentrate on a strict fitness routine through January to establish good habits until we are able to row on the river again in March or April.
I enjoyed hearing about the interactive art installation, and I’m glad to hear your daughter’s breathing is better @angmarie28. Many members of our group are caring for loved ones and juggling an impressive number of responsibilities! You are making a positive difference in so many ways - and inspiring others to be the best versions of ourselves we can be - so thanks for sharing your stories, experiences, and supports! I can’t wake up for 4:00am workouts but I’m definitely motivated to find time to get it done!! Best wishes, everyone!4 -

We got the train to London & walked alot as we wanted to avoid the crowds & the Tube, same as subway for all my American friends on here.We saw a show The Jersey Boys,we kept our masks on but it was fun to go to a theatre, its been 2 years since I've been.I didn't track my food properly but we enjoyed a few treats like mulled wine & ate out for all our meals.
So here are my steps

Ramblings of the day
Good morning team. I had a pretty uneventful Thursday. I cleaned the whole house which was nice. Otherwise just the usual; walking the cat, reading, gaming, watching Twitch. I saw my doctor on Wednesday regarding my medication. He thinks I should be able to quit them in two weeks. I will be taking half my dose for a week, a quarter for a week and then stop. Hopefully that goes well. I would like to go back to 'normal', my normal at least. Happy Friday everyone6 -

Not sure what happened. I was 201 when I weighed yesterday. I've been better at logging my meals, and I've rowed every day (even if it's just a 500m on the weekends).4 -

PW: 226.7
CW: 227.2 (-0.5 lbs; -0.23%)
LTD: 0.6 lbs (102.8 lbs since 7/10/2020)
I'm up a bit, which doesn't surprise me. Last Friday, I felt like I might be coming down with a cold, so I haven't been taking my walks in the morning. Hitting my step goal has been a little challenging because of that. I did manage to walk at an indoor mall a couple times. That and some marching in place plus the water aerobics and Silver Sneakers (cardio for seniors) classes at the gym got me over the top. I recently started taking yoga and Pilates at 6am Monday through Thursday. This week, I only made it on Monday and Tuesday. Next week, no excuses. (I've bumped up my strength training this past week; I am optimistically hoping a lack of weight loss could be partly because I'm gaining muscle. We'll see, I plan on having a DEXA body scan in January.)

Keeping to the plan, working the plan. When it comes down to it, I like plans! Also, just had my physical and the Dr. said everything was perfect bloodwork wise, and I had literally 120/80 bp (even though I am still in obese BMI). I was a little concerned because I eat 2 tbsp of MCT oil for the brain fog and I was concerned by the sat fats and what it would do to my bad cholesterol numbers. I think because I don't eat beef, and avoid butter and cream maybe that helped. Not sure, he said he wished all his patients would take their health as seriously. It was very nice, he has never said that to me before. Of course, I have never taken my health and fitness in hand like this before either soooo... It was just really nice!8 -

This morning when I weighed myself I realized that I have finally reached a point where I can appreciate that the scale is going to reflect my efforts. I have always known that of course, but this morning I didn't get angry at myself for what I should have or should not have done differently. I will take the small loss knowing that my choices this past week were mine to make and own.
I will be out of town for the holiday next week without access to a scale so the next date I will post my weight is 12/31.
Merry Christmas.8 -

Great losses, everyone!
I thought about my weigh-in timing issue some more, and figured a pre-breakfast, and thus pre-pumping, weigh-in is probably most consistent. My pump amounts are quite consistent but how much water I drink with breakfast isn’t, and I definitely don’t want to subconsciously limit my hydration because of a weigh-in. If I have an unusually large pump yield, I can weigh in again and select the lighter result. Skipping the night snack isn’t an option, I’ve tried it a couple of times but ended up rolling around in bed hungry, and few things are as frustrating as insomnia when the baby is sleeping and I’d have a chance to sleep as well.
Today I’m having a Christmas brunch with some girlfriends and we’re probably going to visit the Christmas markets in town as well. Then I have some cleaning and prepping to do for the Christening party tomorrow. Before that, I can go back to bed after finishing my night pump session and snackI have to try weaning myself from the night snack at some point, but I’m quite used to it at this point after starting to need it sometime during second trimester…

Good morning team. Did not make it to the gym sadly. I had a pretty bad headache most of the day. I relaxed and read a lot. Also cleaned all the bird feeders outside and put in fresh food. Because I missed the gym, I put in some effort to get some more steps instead. I am getting my new plants today which I am very excited about! I will share a picture when they are all settled in. Happy Saturday everyone4 -

I am honestly pleasantly surprised by this. I had a really rough week and 3 days where I went way over calories with pizza and other things. I even gave up weighing daily for a few days because I did not want to see the 'damage'. I know my loss this week is tiny, but I am happy.5 -
