Friday February 25
Three yeses. Finally, we could get outside for a decent longer walk (it warmed up quite a bit today) and then took the pup to the off leash park where he had a blast burning off energy. I got to get a decent workout in as well walking the circuit and through the snow! ❄️❄️❄️
I think the worst of the vaccine reaction (second booster) is over🤞🏻5 -

Pass day 10 or something
I posted in "What's on Your Mind" about my new plan to reduce my calorie intake but not by cutting the number on MFP but by no longer counting my exercise calories (which don't amount to much, 100-200 a day). Also as part of that being really strict about not grazing/snacking/munching on food that isn't in the plan.
Exercise: 15 minutes MommaStrong, 40 minutes walk in the snow, 20 minutes clearing snow off my car (I think that counts - it was a lot of snow!)
Tracking: Planned the day
Calories: I was within the plan until my wife offered my daughter some cheesecake pudding she'd made. I said, "Can I try?" and she brought me a little dish. I ate it all. And it was good. But it was missing a crust, so I had to have a cookie too. Oof.
But the weight did actually go down anyway, so I think that this plan is working...4 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes an hour at the pool and an hour walk
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes even managed to say no to a chocolate chip ice cream sandwich
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes including the Blue Moon beer I didn’t say no to! 😂
I thought I’d maybe lost four pounds this week but I checked my weight on feb 1: 179.4 and just this morning: 171.2! Had no idea! Goal in March is to get into the 160’s! I haven’t been there since college!

@tahm42 – great work! It’s such an achievement when those clothes fit and you feel good in them!2
-
@Mrs_Hoffer – a pint of ice cream! Did you enjoy it? Sometimes we just give in to those cravings.1
-
@LazyBlondeChef – checking in every day is good. It’s a pity you aren’t able to get your exercise in, but well done estimating the calories.2
-
@ashleycarole86 – good planning and a successful outcome!3
-
@Winner_in_Life – it’s an achievement to get that exercise done, very good for your mental health. I’m so glad to see you sticking with the challenge.2

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? No, Pass Day #1. Had no desire to get on the Peloton, or do any kind of exercise. Sure sign I needed a complete rest day!

Rest is important too! Well done on recognizing the signs you needed that day, taking it, and still keeping on track. It is always great to see your posts Bill. 🥰5 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Ok
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? ❌
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? ✅4 -
Exercise: no
Tracked all: no
Calories under: no
But, I'm coming here regularly... so accountability for just coming into MFP everyday & checking in with this wonderful group. Today, was another extremely rough day .. a super stressful work day. I gotta stop letting it get to me. Why am I turning to food?! There was a time when I used to turn to exercise for stress relief. I will get there, again!!!4 -
