Today I went to my first swim team practice in decades. Followed that up with weight training. If I don't die from muscle soreness tonight or tomorrow, this may very well be my routine. I like the fact I felt great after the swim this morning. I was also asked if I was interested in teaching swimming or life guarding or being the aquatic director since I have experience coordinating. So that is something to mull over.
But exercise is done for today!12 -

Today is my first day doing this...and I just scraped by the pass...but workout to the rescue...
So: 20220401: yes yes yes.
Did a 40min Heather Robinson Full Body Stregth Workout with Dumbells. Very much my jam, I feel great!
Portion sizes still need some work though.... any tips?

Great suggestion! I used to do the βWalk at Homeβ workouts a few years back when I started with MFP. It definitely helped me lose the pounds and get into better shape. I think Iβll give it a try again - thanks for the reminder π

Stayed under calorie wise, completed rowing, flexibility work. Tracked and logged. I do hope to accomplish some goals in April I would like to drop my last 5lbs, I planned my habit tracker for strength and flexibility work as flexibility seems to slide on me. I would also like to continue to incorporate more whole food items in my food selections. So far since I started these food choices in March itβs working and I am focusing on less meat, more fruits and veggies. Best of luck to all this month.8

Personal goals for April 2022:
Every month, I like to revisit my previous goals and reset them for the new month.
1. Plan to be in winners circle (track everything as expected in this UAC) .
2. Not more than 3 pass days - If I did not meet this goal, I will continue posting everyday. I am a champion
3. Stay honest (even if it puts me out of the circle for the month). This is very important to me. This UAC challenge is a honour (honor) system.
4. Maintain the habits of "kitchen close"
5. Create a habit of not eating more than 1 serving of nuts. "Don't go nuts". I am getting a handle on this goal. But will continue to maintain it!
6. I will like to work on not going over my micro for sugar for the day. This means I need to work on the fruits I eat since most of my sugar come from my fruits. I like fruits, but I have discovered that they could derail me.
7. Forgive my mistakes (forgive myself) and don't leave the UAC for this month even if I failed. Very important for consistency and accountability.
8. Encourage others where possible.5 -
