Steps: 5,478
Exercise: none
We had some pretty bad storms move through southern Ontario yesterday. A lightening strike was the cause of the elevator going out. Eventually, I had to given in and walk up the stairs. I did it very slowly and sat on the stairs for a bit every flight. We haven’t been out yet today but if the elevators are working I am going to the pool otherwise I am staying home.3 -

I had to eat all of my meals at restaurants and it made it very difficult to track things accurately. I'm glad to be home and getting back into my normal routine. The trip was really disruptive. @Megan_smartiepants1970 please excuse me from the step challenge this week.
I hope you all are doing well - I will try to get caught up on comments this weekend.

Thanks @Megan_smartiepants1970! Hi I'm Laura, 40 (yikes!) and excited to be here. Just before quarantine I gained 15 pounds and though the past two years have barely made a dent in it. I currently weight more than I did the day I gave birth. My current goals are to start getting up early to work out and preplan my daily calories so I'm less likely to make bad choices. Feel free to add me as a friend.2

Hello! My name is Greg and I recently turned 40. I starred my journey Feb.24 2022 weighing 388.6 pounds. I'm 6'5 and people were shocked when I told them how much I weighted. I'm currently down 48 pounds. I swim laps 4-5 days a week and ride my exercise bike on off days. Plus softball season has started. I'm from Windsor Ontario Canada. My goal weight is 250. Feel free to add me as a friend3

Good evening everyone. Another weekend has slipped into our rear view mirror.
Calories - 1950 or close. Kept my legs elevated to work on swelling so I had more time to snack. Ugh.
@laura9400 welcome to the team and I hope you can get your trek started with our help.
@JaysFan82 welcome to the team and congrats on your 48 lb loss. It's a great start on your journey.
I forgot to mention I actually stepped on the scale the other day for the first time in 2 weeks. With all of my swelling, 3 tubes still in, and extra clothing I was still 229. Only up 7 lbs. I go for another post-op tomorrow afternoon. I wrote my questions down so I will remember to ask them just in case I get light headed again.
Have a wonderful week everyone.1 -

Alright - I did it! No, I'm not excited about gaining 0.2 lbs since last week … I'm finally done with the out of town weekends! After 5 weekends in a row (2 soccer tournaments, 1 college graduation and 2 separate moves (our kids coming back home for the summer), I finally get a weekend at home and will have a much easier time avoiding food and drinks that make losing weight an uphill battle. I'm getting dangerously close to 230 and erasing all the good progress I made earlier so I'm pretty excited about not having the odds stacked against me. I'm looking forward to sharing some good news next week.1
