Pretty pleased with June so far! Coming to this thread definitely helps. Water intake is much better after a really long struggle, pain in joints is already lower and just weighed in to find a great scale victory too…..mind you I have a loooong way to go so it will be fast at first. Thanks to everyone for posting, really good to keep me motivated. My best wishes to you all in your own struggles and goals 🤝

    For 6/6-6/9

30 minutes of activity every day-Strength class, gardening on Tuesday enough for 3 days.
Something fun every day-Camping prep, volunteer work at a summer camp, hosted a girls happy hour and one of my sons came for dinner. It's been a good week.
Today's specific goal-complete my self imposed work deadline
Monday weigh in was 165.5, not bad for after camping and a picnic.

Melmerritt - Congrats on both interviews, and Good Luck on Tuesday! Haven’t found my rhythm, yet, meaning: 240 cals, and 10 Carbs too many. No after-dinner snax for me tonight!

    For 6/10-15

30 minutes of activity every day-camping prep for two days followed by 6 hours of kayaking and 3 hours of walking over 3+days.
Something fun every day-See above LOL
Today's specific goal-Just get back into my routine
This morning weigh in was 167, can't complain considering I ate ALL the carbs the past 4 days. Should be able to drop 3 or 4 by Sunday with normal meals.

Upcoming hurdles, wedding Saturday and hubby's bday next week.

Started my new job Tuesday, it’s going really well but there are train strikes next week and I can’t work from home so am now wondering if this is going to work out. I shall have to see how it goes! The job is great and the people lovely, it’s just the travel that could be an issue if we start having regular strikes here again.

No exercise at all for me, I’m getting home around 6.30pm and after doing things I need to do like washing there’s just no time. This may improve once I get into a settled routine. In the meantime I do have a bit of walking on my journey and I can always get out at lunchtime and have walk then. So it may just be a matter of doing a different workout routine, more walks during the week.

Glad to be back and Thank you @baconslave for this thread. Great support here!
Mary from Pennsylvania 65 now, Heaviest weight 255 lbs twice. :-(

UGW-122 lbs. I was there in 2009/10 and kept it off for 5 years then got lazy.

My goal is to continue with what seems to work for me. 1000-1200 calories, low carb 15 Net +/- 3(My body seems to not do well with carbs. It doesn't know how to burn them and hangs onto them way too much!), minimum 70 + oz of water, 2 meals/day on my days off(3) and 3 meals on my work days(which are long), exercise on my 3 days off. For challenges my official weigh in day is Sunday. I weigh daily.

    9/14/20 SW-255 lbs
    5/3/21-240.5 lbs Emergency Gallbladder surgery
5/14/21-232.2 lbs started MFP and Low Carb/1000-1200 calorie while recovering
    6/1/21-228.8 lbs
    7/1/21-222.2 lbs
    8/1/21-212.0 lbs
    9/1/21-200.0 lbs
    10/1/21-191.4 lbs
    11/1/21-181.8 lbs
    12/1/21-176.2 lbs
    1/1/22-168 lbs
    2/1/22-157.4 lbs
3/1/22-155 lbs 100 lbs lost of 133 lb goal
    4/1/22-156.4 lbs (Lowest weight 4/6 & 4/7-147.6 lbs)
    5/1/22-158.8 lbs
    6/1/22-152.2 lbs

6/5/22-158 lbs Too many carbs last 2 days and sure it's water retention with them too. (Why do carbs have to be so tasty and addictive?) Did my Elliptical today, 167 minutes for 13.11 miles. My plan was to do another session later today but now my motivation is gone. Probably why I am better at long first sessions. I did add "girl" pushups, planks and just hanging from my son's pull up bar. To increase my strength. Not that I'm weak. (I'm a nurse and I pull even big guys up in beds for a living!) But I can always get stronger. Build up my muscle mass to burn more calories and fill out the flabby loose skin!

Missed last week's post. Been busy but have been logging daily.
    6/12/22-161 lbs :-(
6/19/22-158.2 lbs :-) Did 241 minutes on my Elliptical for 18 miles today.

30 minutes of activity every day-Don't think I did anything at all, so bad
Something fun every day-Nothing Thurs/Fri, Sat was the wedding party and we tried to ride bikes yesterday but hubby's bike had gear issues.

Today's specific goal-Seriously hoping to get back into my routine

This morning weigh in was 167.5 still not complaining because I did it to myself and know I can do better. All my clothes fit and that makes me feel good.

I'm back and back to behaving. We'll see what the scale looks like this weekend. I did make sure I got 10k steps every day. It's so hot here in the afternoons rn it messes with my ability to take walks outside. So I have to do it inside... which is bleh but I'm still working out.

Just having a tough month staying on track. Eating way too many carbs and just don't care. Mornings I am strong but nights I throw in the towel. Did take a evening walk last night and that seem to help my mood. Slept good last night which was very much needed. Up coming surgery on Monday to break up kidney stones. I don't think I am nervous but maybe I am.

    ahoy there, y'all.
    Busy summer.
168.6. Not as low as I want but that's 1.6lb from my pre-Quarantine weight. It will go eventually.

No exercise again this week apart from a walk on Sunday. But I am getting more walking in on my journey to and from work so it’s not a complete disaster. I’m getting into a routine with my evenings after work so hopefully once I’m in a settled routine that works I can get back to regular exercise. At the moment I’m still trying to figure out how to fit in things like getting the washing done, I’ve worked from home for so long I forgot how much extra time that gave me in the evenings to get things done!

30 minutes of activity every day-30 min strength Monday, 2 hour bike ride this morning
Something fun every day-on a work deadline so have been quite tired each night. Took the whole fam out to dinner for hubby's bday though.

Today's specific goal-split and grill a small whole chicken on the bbq.

This morning weigh in was 169 I am back on logging and being more controlled today. Sometimes i need a true break. Now that I've had one, I can get back to business.

Today's specific goal-Go buy a new bathing suit. Hard to find pretty mastectomy friendly suits. Can't do online, have to see it n person.

Weight up a little bit. Routine has been off all week due to preparing for a minor procedure to break up kidney stones. Had that done yesterday and glad to get back to a routine of the supplements I have been taking. I take Ginger and Turmeric. I think they really help me but was not allowed to take them for a week prior to surgery. I guess over the next few days and maybe weeks I will be passing broken kidney stones, which is painfully but not as painfully as whole 7mm up to 10 mm stones.

Getting a total of around 30 minutes asking each day as part of my journey to my new job. So although this month hasn’t gone to plan and I’m not doing the workouts I really want to do, at least I have been getting some activity in each day!
