    Question: When did you start struggling with your weight? What age did you try your first diet?

    I started struggling in my mid 20s. I got a g/f and a car so I got lazy. My first "diet" was about 29 when I went into treatment to try to stay in the military.

    Good morning everyone. I survived another hated Monday.
    Check in for 6/13:
    Calories 2151 or close. I thought I ate more calories but I can't see what I missed.
    I got that dam tube out. Woohoo. I still have a lot of edema. My lower legs are my 500 pound leg size. I have a lot of work to do to get them down. Dr said a week before walking or gym. I think it's been a week, right? Maybe a slow stroll of a couple miles to work the scars a bit.
    I weighed myself for my first accurate weight since may 6th. 232.8. I only gained 10 lbs. With my highly intake of food and protein, no exercise and swelling I figured it would be higher by far. I still want to be on the sidelines for my weight until I can start my exercise and slow my eating.

    Check in for 6/14:
    Calories - 1850??? Don't know where I am going wrong. Maybe not counting the serving size right? To full to eat more. Thinking of hitting sea world tomorrow. Will walk slowly and sit down a lot. We will decide after breakfast and the grocery store. No rollercoasters if I go.

    Happy Wednesday, Downsizers! I'm here for a quick check-in - so sorry that I have been MIA - between my mother's illness and the crazy stock market, I haven't been able to come up for air.

    I am thankful that I have been able to stick to my eating program - unfortunately, my exercise has really gotten off track. I'm hoping to get back on program quickly.

    Just got home from Niagara Falls. The concert was so much fun. I have to get ready to go out with the family.

    Calories - about 2400. Ate lunch at sea world. Lots of slow walking and sat when I needed. Proud of myself.

    Enjoy the rest of your vacation. That’s too bad your dive partner was stressful. You must be adding lots of miles to your 2022 goal. It’s almost 6 months down, you should give us an update.

    I wouldn’t consider it a gain. We can weigh 5 pounds difference between morning and night.

    Exercise: lots of walking

    My steps are definitely lower than what I walked. I don’t think the Apple Watch would work in my pocket as you have to unlock it with a passcode every time you put it on. I am nervous about weigh in tomorrow as I have been eating a bit more this week than last. I am having dinner with friends tonight putting 6 of my last 7 meals in a restaurant. Even with eating less than I normally would, it’s the sodium in restaurant food that kills.
