Goals/Day/Comments: Caught up with some old friends and that put me on a carb high but I made use of the energy and slept like a baby. Iβm making some great progress fitness wise & am tempted to hike my first 14-er in nearly 20 years. Weβll see how I train the next 30 days before I attempt it (main concern - CoVID recovering lungs).π§160 oz. (over), π11,032 (met), β +61 (231).

Sorry I have not been around, busy taking care of sick kids has been all time consuming.
Did almost no exercise all week but kept calories close to or just slightly over all week.
So sorry your children have been sick. Prayers β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ Great job on eating well through a tough time.

@JbeanR0212 I am determined to get out and try SUP this year!! It was on my list last year but I never made it.
@DaffyGirl88 I love it just as much as kayaking, rafting & every other water activity. They all have their perks. Make sure you get enough PSI (you can pick up a air compressor for your car on Amazon for like $40) in that board (and it is sized well) - do these and balance should be easy. Some things I had to learn the hard way last year:
1) Do not try to grip with your toesβ¦. The balance part kind of innately does that to some of us.
2) Make sure you wiggle your toes and rock back & forth on your heels some at a minimum.
- If you donβt do both of these above your feet will ache/cramp/numb up/swell. Iβm so comfortable now, I try to show off with tricks so I run across the board enough that I donβt have to worry about this.
3) When you have to move around on the board, bend your knees & in weigh your feet together or do little hops. This will keep you from wobbling.
I encourage you to try SUP, itβs quickly become a favorite for me.1 -
