    Going the wrong way! Ugh!!

    Steps for the week:
    10/24: 6,596
    10/25: 4,961
    10/26: 5,362
    10/27: 5,316
    10/28: 4,527
    10/29: 1,000
    10/30: 2,120

I have to get into walking everyday. Oh my gosh…I miss last school year when I would spend 30 minutes to an hour everyday just doing my laps. Even the school officials knew “it’s her walking time.” I also came home the other day and was looking at my street thinking “I used to walk my dog everyday” … haven’t done that in awhile, either. It feels surreal to think about all that I did, and that I don’t do that anymore. I need to get back in that habit!! Every time I’m able to do laps at work it’s exciting because it’s so rare, now. Ugh…I need to force myself to make the time. Even if it’s not as long of a walk or as often - I need to do it a couple days a week. That’s my new goal. At least 3 times a week for at least 15 minutes.

Thursday last week I nearly gave up! I'd been doing everything right and not getting the results I'd earned. Ì had a 2 day binge and was up 4lb. I was back to the same weight as the start of October :(
I gave myself a good talking to and thanks to the support of this group decided to keep going.
Here I am 5 days later. Not only has the 4lb gone, but overnight the scales has dropped over 2lb :)
    JUST KEEP GOING!!

Ohhh don't let the celebration of reaching your goal lead to major gains .... I've been there before and couldn't stop gaining! Just put all that loss straight back on! I know maintenance is harder than losing!!!

Hi everyone, thanks for having me back! I'm 48/F from New York, not married/no kids (so all of my food choices are 100% on me :s ). I joined this team originally in May '20. I started out great and from April to Nov '20, I lost about 30lbs. This team has been great for support and motivation! I decided to finish my degree online while working from home full-time and got completely overwhelmed, which led to me dropping the ball on my health. Now I'm about back to where I started, weight-wise. I'm working from the office again, I've settled into a better rhythm on my schoolwork, and the next step is to add going to the gym. Ok, onto the weigh-in!

    MissGYST
    Weigh-in day: Wednesday
    HW: 245
    SW: 237.6
    CW: 237.2

So it's only a 0.4lb loss, but I'm calling it a win because I went to a Halloween Party on Saturday, a birthday party on Sunday, and trick-or-treating with my great-nephews on Monday. I'll take any number that's less than last week! :D

    Steps so far this week:
    Sunday, 10/30: 6,069
    Monday, 10/31: 8,644
    Tuesday, 11/1: 7,440
