    Hey y'all! I've been a very busy gal today, and tomorrow most of my family will be here. It's gonna be crazy & chaotic and I can't wait. I've seen a couple of you wishing your "American" friends a happy holiday. That has really peaked my interest. Where is everyone from? I'm was born in Bremerton, Wa but, I'm a military brat so, I have spent time in a lot of southern states. When I was 16, I made my way back to Bremerton, Wa and I've been here ever since. I'm 57 now.

    Thanksgiving Challenge:
    1) 10,000 steps everyday ✔️
    2) Track my food everyday ✔️ (except Thanksgiving day)

    Hello my friends, once again a quick check in. I am tracking this week and have been staying on course. Definitely not on track as far as activity goes. This cold is definitely lingering. Any physical exertion and it sends me into fits of coughing, even talking too much will get me coughing. Today was a better day though and i have high hopes for tomorrow:). Many people have told me that this cough lingers for 4-6 weeks, it’s going around. My daughter and son in law are moving this weekend, so i will have my grandkids for the full weekend, I’m looking forward to it! They haven’t been here in a month, due to illnesses, things are looking up:)

    I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!! I'm beat and my feet hurt so bad the pain is going all the way up my legs. Totally worth it though. I was surrounded by all my kids and a few that have called me "Mom" for years. All of my grand beauty's were here. It was loud, crazy and a bit chaotic and so much fun.

    Day 24, I'm so very thankful for my family more than they will ever know.

    I can no longer not do anything. I ve had enough of being stagnant. I stumbled across some free plan advice. it's supposed to be customized for me. I read it and it's not customized. I went over all of my notes through the years and it may not be pro but it's definitely SHMOO!!!

    Great job placing 2nd last week!! I'm still stalled but I've slacked the past week. Nothing crazy at all but just said 'eff it' till Sunday. It is super frustrating but kinda letting it fall back has let me enjoy these few days.

    We did our big meal today and tomorrow is the Ohio State be game so they'll be leftovers and snacks.

    @DrewsAnna I'm in the Sacramento area, CA. Love the Thanksgiving poem! I always say after family things I'm physically exhausted but my heart and soul are filled with love from being with them. I feel the same about my family, I'd be lost without them.

    @laurelfit57 That cold is being stubborm about leaving you! Enjoy the grandkids!

    @Cornanda You can do this, maybe it's time to start thinking of the next challenge with some doable goals?

    Hi team, had a great Thanksgiving with my family and Bill, he survived hanging out with all of us and meeting the folks. I didn't have seconds either, fun to hear how we're all getting better with time at this! I woke up today with a cold and went back to bed after having coffee but did do a short workout plus we're doing a yoga challenge while Bill's here and we did that while dinner was cooking. Feeling better than this morning thank goodness! Have a great Saturday team!

    Hi everyone, pretty okay with staying the same this week. In my mind I have sort of backed off a little - after hitting my first goal I’ve felt a bit like just seeing if I could maintain it I guess. Of course i’d like to keep losing, but have also started thinking about how to realistically manage myself over the holiday period. While my overarching goal is to continue losing weight, I think I will be satisfied if I can maintain below the 75kg mark until Feb 1st. I’m assuming there will be some weeks in this window that I gain but if I can alternate them with losses, I’m thinking my overall should more or less hold steady.

    There is more to be said on what’s going on in my mind lately but that’s all time will allow for now. Apologies for not being more active. Hope everyone is having a great time 😊

    It was a stressful week at work .i feel so dizzy and lightheaded .i ate so much junk food .i was hoping a gain of 2-3 lbs .feel grateful for only 0.6lb.
    i have seen one thing in weight loss process sometimes we work really hard ,exercised,made good food choices then the scale shows gain ,this happened to me some months ago and i was so frustated that i thought what is the benefit of doing all this hard work .i should eat whatever i want .i was craving for spicy deep fried snacks and binge watching my favourite series instead of exercising.the next time i checked my weight the result was i gained more lbs.i joined this group that time then i know about it happens with everyone sometimes you lose sometimes you gains .the scale dont always shows the right result.So i dont pay attention to what the number is on the scale and keep focusing on the right choices i could make to lose weight and be a healthy person.i give treats to myself once-twice in a week and eat whatever i want but in small portions and a lazy day with no extra exercise only household works.

    I'm so sorry I didn't weigh in yesterday. We went on a little get away to Florida for the holiday and I completely forgot about it. Hubby is still on the mend but not 100 percent. Hope everyone had an awesome Thanksgiving. Blessings!!

    PS.. I will get on that scale next week for I'm afraid I ate like I was on vacation. B)

    @Tamevv Maintaining is definitely worthwhile this time of year, it's not an easy one to lose weight or even maintain during this time. I'm going to try and do the same as you I think! And I'm still doing my side sit-ups btw, thank you for the inspiration.

    Ftofit Glad you didn't have much of a gain after the last week. Sounds like you've figured out what works best for you, I agree about the scale not always telling the whole story.

    @trooworld I absolutely love Daisy's outfit! Have a wonderful time at the zoo!

    @19shmoo69 Woohoo, that's some serious worshipping! Or you did a lot of standing in kneeling during the service! I remember complaining when I was little going to a Catholic church that every time you get comfortable you have to change positions and kneel or stand. Of course it was easier then than it would be now!

    @askewcr I'm glad you went away for a holiday, so glad to hear your husband is getting better.

    Hi team, hope everyone had a great holiday! I've eaten more than I have in awhile with first going out for a sundae, then Thanksgiving, then Bill was here and we didn't eat the best but it was fun and I don't regret anything. I have an OB/GYN appointment tomorrow so I may have regrets after being weighed! I'm not feeling the best after the way I've been eating, I'm looking forward to how I'm going to feel after a day of eating healthy again. I got a cute rosemary tree as a mini Christmas tree, I'd read pines aren't good for cats and Asher eats leaves before hairballs so I didn't want to risk anything. I have a bunch of rosemary bushes though they're supposed to be replaced every 7 years or so and they're about 20 years old so perhaps I'll replace it with this one. We did a yoga challenge the last 5 days, it was pretty fun plus Bill just joined MFP so now he has a challenge under his belt, he was a good sport. OK gang, have a wonderful Monday, let's do this!

    I got real busy yesterday and was super tired last night. I packed up everything on my bookshelves, sofa table, etc.... moved everything that I could move and dusted & vacuumed. Helped hubby get Christmas decor., down from the attic. Now, I'm getting ready to decorate. Book shelves are almost done, then I'll start the village. It usually takes about a week for me to get everything done.

    @katmary71 Had a run in with chocolate last night and am generally not being accountable with food. Need accountability so am calling on you to check in on me please - I have been doing my general exercise but not my muscle work (no side crunches for days 😔). Please call me on it! I am promising to myself I will do some before bed tonight 😊

    @Tamevv - Well? Did you do the side crunches? Is the chocolate out of sight? I'm sitting on the couch and quite sleepy. Stayed up late to watch the Packers lose, and now it's time to start the work week. I have to put in OT from now until further notice and everyone is grumpy about it, so not looking forward to it. Would like to sit here and doze a bit. Ask me if I got up and did my exercise.
