My name is Mary. I am 62 years old married and have been on the weight loss then weight gain since my early 20's. I joined this challenge in July 2020. This challenge offers support and accountability in my process of becoming a healthier person. I thank everyone for sharing their stories because they are inspiring. I am not alone in my endeavor to maintain a healthier weight. I would especially like to say thanks to Gloria and Vicky for being motivated leaders. You ladies are awesome. My July 2020 weight was 204lbs. So it works.0

Feeling empowered today although today is not a good day pain wise. I woke up so it's a blessing 🙌🏾.
As some of you may know, after a recent diagnosis of heart failure back in October I need to weigh myself daily, to watch for fluid build up, which may be a deterrent. I also had to shrink my water intake from 130oz to 60oz which is extremely hard but I'M TRYING🤣 Due to having to keep my HR down most days I can't exercise but trying to increase my walking so can at least do that if nothing else. I'm a work in progress. 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️
After using this template, I actually have been doing a good job. So far I am back down to 56lbs total lost hoping to see 65-70lbs by my birthday 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾 but not pressuring myself just taking it day by day. So if I can stay the course YOU CAN TOO! DON'T GIVE UP! #onestepatatime #byhisgracealone #WeAreNotAlone #BeEmpowered
